Nordborg 40

Elegant Scandinavian cruiser with timeless lines built by Nordborg Baadebyggeri A/S on the island of Als in the South of Denmark. Her low freeboard, flat coachhouse profile and long overhangs give the Nordborg 40 an elegant, sleek and classic profile. Her exceptionally slim hull (maximum beam: 3,18 m only), the high, efficient rig with standing rigging in rod, the slim, efficient appendixes and a high ballast ratio of almost 40 % make for excellent performance, especially upwind. Traditional, beautifully finished mahogany interior with floorboards in teak with maple strips and ceiling panels in white varnished ash. High-quality, generously dimensioned deck fittings as well as the arrangement of mainsheet, traveller and genoa winches directly within the helmsman's reach make it easy for small crews to safely manoeuvre the yacht.

This Nordborg 40 is a very well maintained and fully-equipped yacht offered by her first owner. Every year in indoor winter storage and continuous care and technical maintenance. Exceptionally young and high quality sail wardrobe (mainsail and jib ELVSTRÖM EPEX new 2022). Teak deck everywhere, bow thruster, complete RAYMARINE navigation and stainless steel anchor. Special highlights of this yacht are the retractable stainless steel bowsprit for the gennaker, the beautiful TCE steering wheel in cold moulded mahogany and maple veneers, and the interior in specially selected, light-coloured Khaya mahogany. The Nordborg 40 is located on the Bay of Lübeck (German coats of the Baltic Sea), can be inspected any time upon appointment and is available for delivery at short notice.

We use a centre cockpit design because it gives shelter to everyone in cockpit, keeping them snug and safe. Nordborg 34 : Feine dänische Fahrtenyacht

Die Nordborg 34 soll ein schnelles, gut zu handhabendes Schiff für bis zu sechs Personen sein. Sie soll aber auch mit kleiner Crew oder einhand leicht bedienbar sein. Soweit die Zielsetzung der Werft. Die Linien aus der Feder von Werftchef Bland Jensen sind traditionell, mit schrägem Steven, tiefem Vorfuß und einem Skeg-geführten Ruder. Zudem ist die Yacht für ihre Größe relativ schlank. Das T-förmige Cockpit erlaubt wahlweise Pinnen- oder Radsteuerung. Plicht, Deck und Kajütdach sind serienmäßig mit Teak belegt.

Der Innenausbau ist, Nordborg-typisch, klassisch gestaltet: Vorschiffs-, Salon- und Achterkoje sind jeweils für zwei Personen ausgelegt. Die Pantry ist L-förmig an der Backbordseite angeordnet. Gegenüber gibt es einen Kartentisch. Dieser ist mit einem schwenkbaren Sitz ausgestattet, der sich auch als extra Sitz für den Salontisch verwenden lässt. Im Heck gibt es eine ausklappbare Badeplattform. Interessant ist vor allem der Stevenbeschlag, er besitzt vier Funktionen. Zum einen dient er als Aufnahme für den Anker. Er soll sich aber auch ausziehen lassen und dann in der ersten Stufe als Bugleiter fungieren, weiter ausgefahren dient er als Gennakerrüssel und in voller Länge schließlich als Anschlagpunkt für eine Code Zero. Ein solches Leichtwindsegel dürfte auch nötig sein, da das 9/10-Rigg mit außen liegenden Püttigen aufwartet und keine überlappende Genua zulässt. Um die Begehbarkeit zu verbessern, sind die Unterwanten allerdings nach innen auf den Aufbau versetzt.

Nach Auskunft der Werft wird das neue Boot nicht zur Hanseboot fertig sein. Der im Bau befindliche Prototyp kann aber nach Absprache in der Werft besichtigt werden. Die offizielle Vorstellung ist zur Hausmesse am 17. und 18. November geplant.

Der Preis steht noch nicht fest, die ersten Kalkulationen belaufen sich aber auf etwa 190 000 Euro.
