The Hardy 32 was designed in response to requests from potential owners who wanted an aft cockpit design suitable for cruising the French canals, but also retaining the speed and sea-keeping ability to cruise across the English Channel or the North Sea in comfort and safety. The Hardy 32 fulfils all these requirements and more.

A sea boat utilizing the ever popular design of the Commodore 36 with its eye catching classic lines and a proper sea-going hull. Now a version without a flybridge for those people that are looking to cruise the French Canals and also have a large sociable aft cockpit.

The first of the new ‘Next Generation’ models from Hardy, ensuring that the legendary sea keeping design of the Hardy range remains intact, the design of the Hardy 40DS remained in the capable hands of Hardy designer Andrew Wolstenholme.

Designed to build on the reputation of the Hardy 36, the Hardy 42 is a top quality sea-kindly cruising boat with lively performance. The latest Hardy 42’s are capable of nearly 28 knots in heavy weather in comfort.

HARDY 50 | 52DS

After the introduction of the Hardy 42 it became clear that a number of owners would welcome a larger luxury motor yacht with similar performance and sea-keeping to match. The new design has a size and layout that allows a larger family to cruise together, but be manageable by a couple for long periods and distances.

The Flag Ship of the Hardy range offers a sea kindly semi displacement hull built to withstand the vigour of the sea. The design is typical of the Hardy approach to cruising motor yachts. The interior may be styled in either a traditional manner or lifted to give a more modern feel.

What a piece of kit Hardy built! You can tell that this Hardy Commodore 50, KISMET, has some heavy commercial heritage behind her—from the size of the stringers and ribs on display in her inner hull to the heated screens, which allow a mist-free, clear view over her decks from the inner helm. Her sea-kindly hull enables a smooth, damped ride through confused seas that would keep similar hard-chined boats in dock. Thus, her passage-making potential is far superior.

Andrew Wolstenholme designed her hull with blade-like forward sections that cleave the water neatly in twain, while flicking it astray with vim and vigour. She is as solid as a rock, as you would expect from her 27 tons light loading, passing through broken water. Thus, she can maintain a speed at a level of comfort that would bring any planing hull to a literal standstill in the water.

KISMET is one of the handful of these wonderful Hardy 50s that emerged from the Hardy sheds in North Walsham before the welcome takeover of the Hardy brand by Mylor’s Cockwells Ltd. Originally specified and built for Mark Funnell, who was the MD of Hardy Marine Ltd. at the time, she boasts the larger MAN R6-800 diesels, enabling a phenomenal top speed of 30 knots if required, or a leisurely 6 knots with a fuel burn in single figures. Her machinery is housed behind a watertight bulkhead door, as expected from a proper commercial sea-going vessel. Additionally, she features practical utility and study areas, along with six berths spread across three cabins.

Brokerage craft in this condition, with a class A rating, are rare—especially in the current used yacht market. She is, and will make, a superb cruising motor-yacht for those who do not wish to be held back by a bit of breeze. Offered to the market in sparkling condition, her engine room, in particular, is in a stunningly good state. With a complete set of instruction manuals, an excellent pedigree, exceptional volume, and ability for her size, she is a complete joy to be on board and a privilege to show.

A fantastic boat used by us as a family, KISMET is equally comfortable cruising the Channel Islands and Scilly Isles, as popping across to Yarmouth. Easy to handle and being 15m, can always find a berth on a busy weekend in the solent.

Continual maintenance and improvements carried out, but always trying to keep the boat as original as possible. From LED lights throughout to new cushions and entertainment systems, all improvements have been based on practical experience.

Where to Buy a Home in Moscow in 2024

The growth in suburban house prices in 2021 can be as high as 15%. This prognosis was voiced by the participants of Moscow’s real estate market. Housing near Moscow has already gone up in value by 7%, and before the end of the year, this number is quite likely to rise by another 2–3%. The pandemic has changed the trends on the suburban real estate market – the current demand for detached houses is noticeably higher than before the global outbreak of Covid-19, and this naturally influences the cost of residential homes, say the experts. They also note that traditionally, the fall-winter period has always been considered a time of low demand for houses for sale in Russia; however, the opposite is now the case.

Here are the Moscow real estate categories to consider when buying a house in Russia:

• By direction and location (Rublyovka, Novaya Riga, Barvikha);
• By classification ( luxury , business class, economy);
• By development format (townhouses, detached private homes).

When purchasing homes in Moscow, Russia, a good rule of thumb is to select houses within an 18.6-mile (30 km) radius from the center of Moscow. This ensures you will get a well-developed infrastructure, and that the chosen location will be replete with hospitals and schools.

We recommend considering the West, South and North directions just out of Moscow. You may notice that country houses are noticeably cheaper on the capital’s Eastern side. However, this is due to poor environmental conditions – the result of the presence of a number of industrial facilities in the entire East area.

Best Cottage Communities in Moscow

Muscovites with high incomes live in closed elite cottage communities that have their own full infrastructure. Such cottage communities are usually designed by Europe’s best architects, especially contracted for the job. These locations have everything: private English schools, restaurants, shops, pools and gyms, beauty salons and equestrian sports clubs.

The most expensive houses up for sale are located in the Barvikha Hills area (Rublevka direction). This elite location near Moscow even has its own famous brand boutiques: Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Bentley, Ferrari and Harley-Davidson. The least expensive house here costs 1.5 million US dollars and has a floor area of 656 sqft (200 m²). This gated community is just 10-20 minutes by car away from Moscow itself.

We encourage you to consider some of the following elite locations as you decide where to purchase your ideal property: Etude Family Club, La-Mansh, Western Residence, Yusupovo Life Park, Odintsovo, Novaya Riga and Pirogovo. There you will find everything one requires for a comfortable life, at the price of 300 to 500 thousand US dollars for a residential home.
