By way of background, my business interests include controlling stakes in 3 publicly traded companies which operate vessels in the 500 to 5000dwt range. On average, one new vessel a year would be added to the fleet. As a result, I have access to in-house marine architects, engineers and construction supervisors. Consequently, when I decided to build my first large motor yacht, I did not feel I needed the services of a company like Moran Yacht & Ship. In any event, I was persuaded to let them negotiate on my behalf while I simultaneously held discussions with other building options. The Nonsuch 26 Ultra carries all the ease, stability and handling of the iconic Nonsuch 26, but with a redesigned interior cabin to reflect her sistership the Nonsuch 30 Ultra.

The double pullman berth in the forward cabin is complemented by plenty of storage and a large hanging locker. The main salon with a long settee to port and a functional galley to starboard. The head sits to starboard of the companionway stairs.

Saillavee has added several creature comforts over the years including a new electric windlass, electric halyard winch and custom stainless steel swim platform. She is a great compact cruiser for a couple.
