Due to the Westshore Yacht Club Marina being located in a private community the facility does not offer a boat ramp or overnight trailer parking.

Just north of Port Tampa and MacDill Air Force Base, Westshore Yacht Club is a 149 slip marina on Old Tampa Bay that can accommodate vessels up to 108’ LOA. The marina offers a variety of shore power options including: 1x20AMP, 1x30AMP, 2x30AMP, 1x50AMP, 2x50AMP, and 100amp single phase. While on site, you can venture to one of the nearby restaurants, all of which are insanely good! Hula Bay Club which boasts a taste of Hawaii on the waterfront and Salt Shack On The Bay, an open air restaurant and bar right off the shore. For those who need to pick up some essentials, there is also a food mart within walking distance.

Just a short drive away you’ll find the Florida Aquarium, Tampa Bay History Center, and Glazer Children’s Museum so there is something for everyone to enjoy. The best part is - this marina is pet friendly! Whether you’re looking for activities in Port Tampa or want to relax on your own boat, Westshore Yacht Club is the perfect place.

If I could rate at less than one star, I would. We were having our boat moved into the country and had reached out to the marina mid October to check slip availability during the middle of October of this year. We were told there would be a slip available to us and that they would put a hold on it. No mention of paying for the slip at that time was made and that we would just . Because of the weather (Hurricane Ian), we had to delay our move of the boat to the end of October and communicated that to the marina. They told us that that would be no problem. A few days after that communication, we received a call from them stating that if we wanted the slip we would have to pay them immediately or the slip would be given away. That is understandable.....what is not understandable is that they told us that we would have to pay for the entire month of October (over $3k) and that would have included roughly 25 days that we would be paying for without are boat even being at the marina. Because there were no other marina spaces available, we had to go ahead and enter into an agreement with them because we had no other choices. When our boat finally arrived on October 27th, we flew to Tampa. When we arrived, we were unable to use any of the amenities that we has paid a whole month for because the "didn't have us set up in the system" yet. That's $3k down the drain and no one seemed to care to work with us at all. Having said that, we received a call from the Harborage Marina because they had us on a waiting list. Suffice to say, we moved our boat immediately. We know a lot of folks in the boating community and would never recommend this marina to anyone. Save yourself some heartache.

I lived at Westshore Yacht Club once upon a time and loved it. We gravitated toward the pool with the pool bar on a weekly basis - just sitting in front of the water, boats and enjoying the location. It's a gated community, which was a huge perk.

Just behind me in this photo is the neighborhood gym, overlooking the pool and water. Gorgeous sunsets.

Nice place. Beautiful view of the marina. Lamb Pops.....delicious. Nice flavor and cooked just right. I highly recommend them. Seared Tuna.....delicious. Cooked rare. Just amazing flavor and texture. Poppy seed crusted. The Wasabi sauce is very good. Eggplant Fries.....very tasty. Lightly breaded. The food was wonderful. The service was great. There weren't many people there and it is a "clubhouse" type situation. Not a place that I would seek out to go to unless I was in the area.

I am a local photographer and this is the second wedding I've done at this venue. I always let my brides know how amazing the staff are and how beautiful the grounds look. Amy is the Wedding Cordinator at this venue and she totally rocks!!! The food is amazing!!!

South Tampa – The Bay Club at Westshore Yacht Club is a waterfront gem located in South Tampa. With a newly renovated interior reception room and outdoor patio with seating for up to 250, this event space is an ideal backdrop with jaw-dropping sunset views.

The Ceremony:

The club’s pool deck is popular for outdoor wedding ceremonies, cocktail hour, or reception under the bistro lights. This ample space accommodates up to 250 for a seated dinner or up to 400 for a cocktail-style reception.

A fresh new interior dining space, the Bistro Room offers modern neutral decor with magnificent views of the Marina from the upper level of the clubhouse. The dining room can accommodate up to 100 seated guests and provides a backup ceremony locale in the case of inclement weather.

• Custom options are available to suit each event, such as specialty linens and charger plates, a white or bamboo ceremony arch, audio-visual equipment, and even a sparkler send-off at the end of the evening. A day-of coordinator is also available for an additional fee.

The Food & Drink:

The upscale club offers in-house catering and bar packages, has ample space for getting ready, and on-site parking.

We wanted a venue that was intimate and beautiful on it’s own, without a lot of décor. Most importantly, it was key for Justin and I to stay within our determined budget. The beautiful marina and sunset views, along with easy planning process, led us to Westshore Yacht Club, and we couldn’t have been happier! In addition to the beautiful venue, the package that the Westshore Yacht Club offered included an incredible day of coordinator, Amy Winkleman. She kept us on track with planning and made sure everything ran smoothly on the big day. Our package also included delicious catering both throughout the day as we were getting ready, and for our guests at the reception. Our venue gave us a less stressful planning process and a beautiful ceremony and reception, all within our budget.

The Westshore Yacht Club was a perfect and gorgeous setting. We intentionally timed the ceremony so our guests at the cocktail hour were treated to a fabulous sunset. An added bonus were the dolphins passing by and the luxury yachts in the background.

We chose the Westshore Yacht Club as our venue because I did not want a beach wedding, but rather an elegant and discreet location to tie the knot, and it was perfect.

The Westshore Yacht Club is the best-kept secret of South Tampa. We had the whole Bay Club to ourselves so it felt safe and private. Amy was absolutely amazing and very helpful throughout planning. Also, the food and service were great and a must when choosing the location.

Nice Marina and Friendly Staff. Floating dock was nice and pool area was nice. Workout room was Outstanding! We stayed on C Dock and the water did not work at our slip. Pump out station was at the T Dock at the end of E dock and was a bit squirly to get going....once we changed to the other larger hose it seemed to work with low/moderate suction. Uber/Lyft worked nicely from this location and everyone we met were really nice!

The only negative was I had to use two 30 amp cords to my 50 amps cord. I did have a converter cord that worked just fine and had no electrical problems.

Zach and his staff were very pleasant and accommodating with us. Coordination with the clubhouse remains as an issue. Our hope is that they work through this because this is a beautiful property and marina.

Tampa Pride: The city of Tampa shows its support to the LGBTQ+ community with the following events:

• Tampa Pride Interfaith Service: Faith-based organization booths open at 6 p.m., followed by an interfaith service at 7. Free. 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday (March 19). The Portico, 1001 N. Florida Ave., Tampa. 813-254-5139.
• Tampa Pride Street Festival: The festival includes an arts and crafts show, community health fair and entrepreneurs area. The main stage will be in the Cuban Club Courtyard. The festival kicks off at 10:45 a.m. with the Tampa Bay Pride Band and guest speakers followed by featured entertainment. Vendor areas are located at East Ninth Avenue and the HCC parking lot. The East Ninth Avenue area is two blocks from North 13th Street to North 15th Street. The second area comprises the HCC parking lot area. Back this year will be the Food Alley, located on 14th Street between Ninth and Palm avenues, right between the Cuban Club and HCC. Free. 10:45 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday (March 23). Cuban Club, 2010 N. • Tampa Pride Diversity Parade: The parade will wind its way east from the corner of Nuccio Parkway and East Seventh Avenue to North 20th Street, where it will turn north to disperse. Free. 4 p.m. Saturday (March 23). East Seventh Avenue and Nuccio Parkway, Ybor City in Tampa.

Bazzar: Through break dancing, live music, teeter board, tight rope, balancing acts, bicycles, spinning wheels, aerial work, fire and more, colorfully dressed Cirque du Soleil characters bring the “bazzar” world together as one. Runs through March 24. $42 and up. 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Friday (March 20-22), 3:30 and 7 p.m. Saturday (March 23), noon and 1 p.m. Sunday (March 24). Gasparilla International Film Festival: Tampa Bay’s largest celebration of independent film showcases films of all types and genres, including features, documentaries, shorts, music videos and international films. Red carpet guests, including actor John Travolta and Grammy-nominated rapper Quavo, will be in town for the world premiere of “Cash Out,” Quavo’s new film with Travolta. They will be at Tampa Theatre on Thursday (March 21) for the opening night of GIFF and the movie’s debut. The festival is taking place at Westshore AMC in Tampa. Valspar Championship: The Valspar Championship brings professional golfers back to Innisbrook. The schedule is: Tampa General Hospital Pro-Am (Wednesday), First Round Valspar Championship (Thursday), Second Round Valspar Championship (Friday), Third Round Valspar Championship (Saturday) and Final Round Valspar Championship (Sunday). Ruth Eckerd Hall on the Road presents country music superstar Cole Swindell performing a full show on the Osprey Driving Range next to the Copperhead Course after the conclusion of Saturday’s play at about 6:30 p.m. His hit “She Had Me at Heads Carolina” was just certified 3X Platinum by the RIAA, and his fourth studio album, “Stereotype,” was certified Gold. The concert is free with a Saturday Valspar ticket. $20 Wednesday, $60-$75 Thursday-Sunday, 7 a.m. Wednesday-Sunday (March 20-24). Bay Area Renaissance Festival: Shout “huzzah” to the king and queen at the 45th annual festival. New this year are the Capture the Magic Photo Experience, Fairy Tale Tea Party, House of Dragons Pub, Barbie Princess, Barrel Ride and Mermaid Cove. Voices of Women Theatre Festival : A showcase of original works by 11 women playwrights.
