The Holy Ghost Is A Consuming Fire (You Must Watch Or Hear This Sanctuary Sermon)
The person of the holy ghost is the fire of god..
Nothing is more absolute in God’s Church and His Sanctuary than the Fire Of Holy Ghost anointing. A Church full of the Holy Ghost Fire will transform anyone that enters the doors or they will flee in resistance. There is no possibility of an experience in which the believer is made a vibrant Christian disciple without the literal ministry of this Divine Person. He is the Fire of God with which the Lord God told John the Baptist that Jesus would baptize His Believers. “He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.” (Matthew 3:11c) That is too plain of a truth for the church world to deny.
What Is Holy Ghost Fire? Something Supernatural!!!
· Rich spiritual life and joy · Divine healing in the mortal body · Happiness in worshipping the Lord · Anointed preaching that brings a shout · Passionate love for the Holy Bible · Singing and shouting in the Holy Ghost · The exciting nine gifts of the Holy Ghost · Love that eliminates all prejudice
This generation has witnessed more professing Christians turning away from the Baptism of the Holy Ghost than ever in church history. I personally know many people that were either brought up in a Pentecostal church or were at one time excitedly filled with the Holy Ghost, but today they are not even a whisper. The Holy Ghost that inspired every word of the Bible warned us of this day. The primary message of Hebrews chapter six is a warning to anyone that has experienced the Holy Ghost but later turned back to the foundational truths but denied the power of the Spirit. This is a shattering truth that you must remember.
They were warned with very revealing worlds that they were denying the deeper truth of our faith. He named, “Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.” (Hebrews 6:2) There is no doubt that he is concerned with the loss of the power of a Holy Ghost baptism. It is not water baptism that he speaks about but the baptism in the Fire of the Holy Ghost.
Notice carefully the next three verses. “And this will we do, if God permit. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come.” (Hebrews 6:3-5) Those words are powerful. These souls were made partakers of the Holy Ghost and tasted the Word of God and the power of the world to come. All of this truth is Pentecostal in flavor and Holy Ghost filled words.
Why has this happened to a literal multitude of people? I will carefully give you what I know the Holy Ghost is saying to this unworthy writer. This is the last of the last days and every deception in Satan’s arsenal is being cast at this generation. If deception can be manifest, it is being manifest. Satan hates the Fire of the Holy Ghost because he cannot resist it.
First, we must know what is happening in the world of iniquity. Jesus issued a warning that everyone recognizes, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” (St Matthew 24:12-14) This passage describes our day perfectly. This word iniquity clearly paints a picture of a church full of compromise and falling away from the deeper life. Iniquity and the fashions of the world are concurrent and they are robbing the church world of separation to Christ and Godly living. The Fire of the Holy Ghost cannot burn on an altar where the world reigns as king.
The Pentecostal Fire that burned for much of the twentieth century was without question manifest in pure and Godly lives. As the churches became bigger and wealthier, they became careless in lifestyle and the world robbed the fire. Starting in the last years of this past century the Fire of God was replaced with emotional music and cheerleaders in the pulpit. The church world started celebrating the Holy Spirit instead of fasting and praying for His Sovereign visitation. The results have been devastating.
The Neo-Pentecostal movement was at first the old line Pentecostals reaching out to the nominal church world. Certainly, there has been a mixture of good and bad in this phenomenon that occurred but the truth of scripture and doctrinal purity was never held as supreme. Very early in this developing movement the Catholic Church saw the value of joining forces. Leaders, like Katherine Kuhlman, welcomed the Catholic priests and nuns in their Catholic attire and with their misguided doctrine to stand equal with them.
Today, the Charismatic world is such a smorgasbord of ideas and experiences that millions of people are left confused and bewildered. There are wonderful souls all over this religious movement that are desperately in need of a death to the flesh and Biblical purity of lifestyle. The present personalities that represent this part of Pentecost are given to spiritualistic designs and false fire. Many of the latest champions are persons like the tattooed and utterly confused Todd Bentley. I fear that there is no recovery left for the majority of these dear people.
Let’s look at the first and last of the seven churches in Revelation chapters two and three. Ephesus was the first century church and Laodicea is the church of today. The first church of Ephesus left their first love within less than one hundred years. The Laodicea church is described different but the problem is the same. They were neither hot nor cold. Both are perfect matches for this present generation of Pentecostals. Yes, there are still numerous churches and individuals that are standing fast and we praise the Lord for that. These churches would quickly confess the need for a fresh visitation of the Holy Ghost.
The church at Ephesus was very similar to the Pentecostal churches still standing strong today. We love the truth and are quick to defend ourselves against the false fire and questionable lifestyles. Here is our Lord’s correction of us, “I know thy works, and thy labor, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast labored, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” (Revelation 2:2-5) We are desperate to recover the fire of a mighty Baptism in the Spirit. When the fire is real, many will come to watch us burn and then come under conviction to experience that same joy and knowledge of the Lord.
The church of Laodicea certainly represents the multitudes of Pentecostals that no longer even want the Fire of Pentecost. These are the “made for television” churches that are rich and increased with goods. The Son of God that dictated these seven letters could not have described them better. Carefully read His words, “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see.” (Revelation 3:15-18) He stated clearly that this crowd is unprepared for His Rapture and will be spewed out into the Tribulation. They are part of the five virgins that had no oil (fire) in their vessels. He called them foolish.
My burden is to awake the great company of former Pentecostals. Many of them would still call themselves by that name, but it is only in name and not in reality. Spirit-filled saints of God are a threat to Satan. A godly believer that stands solid on the Word of God is already powerful. When they are clothed and totally given to the gifts and power of the Holy Ghost, they change the landscape where they live. All you need for proof is to read the Book of Acts. Those saints were no different from any other saints since that day except they were baptized in the Holy Ghost Fire.
Look at some of the truths that Jesus taught us about the results of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. In John chapter fourteen He begins to open their understanding of what would happen after His death and return to the Father, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father; But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” (John 14:12; 26)
Our understanding of the Baptism must be guided by Jesus Christ’s words. The results will be supernatural and we will again see multitudes converted. “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of Judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.” (St John 16:7-11) This is the Lord’s description of a church full of His Holy Spirit.
When He arose from the dead and was preparing to return to the Father, He did not leave any question about his command to the believers. Read carefully, “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” (Luke 24:49)
They were to stay in Jerusalem until they were empowered for the task. Just before they saw Him go up into the clouds He added a strong statement, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
Anyone that tries to do supernatural ministry without the supernatural anointing is going to fail. “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” (I Corinthians 2:14-16) He closes that great statement with the promise that a Holy Ghost possessed person has the “mind of Christ.”
The Spirit of God is brooding over the saints of God and calling us back to a Baptism of Fire. Anyone that knows this truth, anyone that was raised by parents or grandparents that knew this truth, and, especially, anyone that has experienced this truth are grieving the Holy Ghost if they turn away. It is a dangerous thing to reject the Holy Ghost. If you reject Him and then grieve Him, you will soon blaspheme Him. There is a great company of individuals that are in grave danger.
When Apostle Paul warned the church in Hebrews about those that tasted this life-giving ministry but turned away, he declared the danger. He spoke of “seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.” (Hebrews 6:6b) No one can experience the joy and power of this Baptism in the Holy Ghost and then turn away without consequences.
The Spirit of God is calling us back to the Book of Acts and a Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire. The God of the Bible has promised a “Latter Rain” of His Spirit. I believe the “Latter Rain” will be as great as the Day of Pentecost. The Spirit said, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy” And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be save. And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Acts 2:17-21)
The Lord is actually waiting for this great day. He is patiently tarrying for the harvest that is coming. “Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.” (James 5:7-8) You must be ready for the Rapture while you prepare for the outpouring of His mighty Holy Ghost. He will decide which comes first.

Amen Amen Amen!
You are right Where is the Fire? we appear to be dead from the rear up! nobody buys us when we cannot come in power, cleverness of words soon fade and then they turn to look for another phrase; smart church billboards try to catch the eye of motorists stop here: we are thought provoking and thats about it.
Open our mouths wide for the latter rain, the falling away is as foretold. i just don’t want to go out without a fight! As the Apostles requested “Lord Jesus help us with our faith.”

Lime it is made in a kiln
Amos 2:1 THUS saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment therof; because he burned the bones of the King of Edom into lime.
This appears to be a good example of why we are not to burn anyones bones nor think the Lord wishes to deal with that type of situation created by our passions.
Cause he brings fire upon those whom have used fire, Amos 2:2
This is another powerful message for the Church in these last of the last days. I’ve been believing the Lord for the real Baptism in His precious Spirit of Truth for years, but haven’t seen the manifestation yet although I believe that I’m about to. I believe Revival is at the door. The wise virgins are given the Extra Oil they so valued and it is manifested for all to see since the foolish demand that the wise share it. Our Lord saved the best wine for last. A spotless and united (IN the Truth In Him) Remnant will be Raptured Home with their hands full of harvest. The Church reminds me of the story of Samson. What a powerful ending.
One main problem when talking about the mighty Promise of the Father IN us is that apparently it’s easy for Believers to think they have the baptism when they don’t. Bro. Smith Wigglesworth was seeing healings, souls being saved and walked in closeness with God so he thought He was baptized in the Spirit but later admitted he was wrong. It wasn’t intentional. He just sincerely believed he had the baptism when in reality he didn’t. Same thing happened in brother D.L. Moody’s life. He too, thought he was already baptized in the Spirit. Thank God for those two ladies who knew better and were praying for him to receive Him in mighty baptism and fire. I also read about a missionary years back who thought he had the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He was handed a note as he boarded a ship in which a friend of his promised to pray for him until he received fire from on High. Now if these precious brothers were all duped at first how many more are today? So the devil gets folks to settle for a counterfeit instead of the genuine fire from on High. I’ve known folks who admitted that they pretended they received because they didn’t want to be the only ones who didn’t. I wonder how many more of those weary souls are out there? It’s time for Truth to rend the Heavens and come down. Truth will always have the last word! Keep praying, brothers and sisters!

The Fire of the Holy Ghost
By chris machamer, december 2023.
Font Size Font Size
John the Baptist said, I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he [Jesus] that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire (Matthew 3:11). That Holy Ghost fire did shine forth through the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, and that same divine fire must burn within every child of God today.
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said, Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Let your [Holy Ghost] light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:14,16). That light and those good works are a result of Holy Ghost fire manifesting through a child of God’s life.
Jesus did not start His ministry until He was filled with the Holy Ghost. And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him [Jesus] , and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased (Luke 3:22). Then signs, wonders, miracles and healings started manifesting through His life.
When Jesus began His ministry, He proclaimed, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me (Luke 4:18). Jesus was anointed to minister to people and to do good works that would glorify His Father in Heaven. When Jesus’ light shined forth, it caused people everywhere to give glory to God.
Signs, Miracles and Healings
When Jesus finished His mission on Earth, He gave His followers the Great Commission: Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; [signifying being baptized in the Holy Ghost] ...they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:15,17,18).
The miracles and healings helped launch the Gospel to the known world of that day quicker than anything else could. They put God’s stamp of approval on what was being preached to the people, and they separated the Gospel of Jesus Christ from every other religion and idol god in the world at that time.
Jesus received the Holy Ghost before He began His ministry; and that is why He instructed His followers, And, behold, I send the promise of my Father [the Holy Ghost] upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high (Luke 24:49). Only then were they to go forth and start the church of Jesus Christ.
Peter Failed Without the Spirit
Jesus told the disciples, But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8). The fire of the Holy Ghost makes true Jesus witnesses who shine forth with divine love and faith. It was necessary for the members of the Early Church to have the baptism of the Spirit, and it is necessary for those in the latter church today.
The Bible says that after Peter was set on fire with the Holy Ghost, he stood before the Jews declaring, “You crucified Jesus! Repent and be baptized!” But before Pentecost, Peter had failed the Lord over and over again. He could not stay in step with Jesus, and he even rebuked Jesus when Jesus told the disciples about the plan of redemption He was about to fulfill. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee (Matthew 16:22).
When Jesus needed Peter the most in the Garden of Gethsemane, he was sleeping. Jesus saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour (Matthew 26:40)? When Peter did wake up, he cut off a man’s ear. When Jesus was being arrested, all the disciples [Peter included] forsook him [Jesus] , and fled (Matthew 26:56).
Peter failed yet again when he denied ever knowing Jesus three times. He even went so far as to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man (Matthew 26:75).
After Peter was baptized in the Holy Ghost, the divine fire transformed him from a selfish, spiritual weakling into a mighty, soul-winning force for God and His Kingdom. He preached a sermon that brought 3000 souls to the Lord, and he was even ready to put his life on the line. Holy Ghost fire produces wonderful works and brings souls into the Kingdom.
Seek Holy Boldness
As the Lord moved through the Holy Ghost to build His Church, the devil was working to bring persecutions against the Church. Even so, the disciples still gathered together. Were they praying for relief, deliverance or an escape? No. They were praying for more holy boldness to go forth and do the will of God. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness (Acts 4:31).
Up to that point, the fire of the Holy Ghost did not blaze through those disciples as it should have; but as they gathered together, that fire began to burn hotter and higher within them until it destroyed all thoughts of self and all selfish reservations. Then they went forth to lay their lives on the line and preach the Word of God with signs, wonders, miracles and healings.
You cannot live your life however you please if you want divine fire to burn in your vessel. It requires strict, spiritual discipline and complete surrender to the Holy Spirit every day. The account of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5:1-11 demonstrates the strict discipline of the Holy Ghost. They were both members of the church, but each of them told a lie; and the Holy Ghost struck them dead.
The intense heat of the fire of the Holy Ghost burning in your life will keep you purified of any contamination from sin, the world or selfishness. Then the person of the Holy Ghost will have liberty to use you without limitation or hindrance.
The Holy Ghost Is for All
The fire of the Holy Ghost caused the church to grow beyond its Jewish boundaries. Up to that time, the Jews had been separating themselves from the Gentiles; but God’s plan was greater than man’s plan, and He wanted the Gospel and the Holy Ghost to go all over the world.
Acts 10 tells of Peter sharing the Word of God with Cornelius, a Gentile, and his family and friends. As Peter began to speak, he didn’t have a chance to say much before the Holy Ghost suddenly fell on all who were in the house. Peter and the other Jews knew it was the Holy Ghost for they heard them speak with [new] tongues, and magnify God (Acts 10:46).
That was the same fire of the Holy Ghost that was poured out in the Upper Room on the Day of Pentecost. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4).
The Spirit is being poured out in the same way today, and the gift of the Holy Ghost is a promise for all people of the world. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call (Acts 2:39). The only condition is that a person must first be saved.
The Spirit Works Through People
The power and fire of the Holy Ghost blazed through a young man named Stephen. And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people (Acts 6:8). The Holy Ghost fire burned so brightly within Stephen that he willingly laid his life on the altar of sacrifice to become the first martyr of the Early Church.
Philip was another layman who carried the fire of the Holy Ghost, and it produced wonderful results in Samaria. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city (Acts 8:6-8). The fire of the Holy Ghost blazing through just one yielded vessel brought great joy, liberty and freedom to those people for soul, mind and body.
When the Apostles heard that the people of Samaria had gladly received salvation and the Word of God, they sent Peter and John to them. Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost (Acts 8:15-17).
Those verses make it clear that salvation is a separate experience from the baptism in the Holy Ghost. Some Pentecostal churches believe that when people get saved, they automatically receive the Holy Ghost; but that is not what the Bible teaches.
Caught Up by the Spirit
At another time, the fire of the Holy Ghost working through Philip led him into the desert where he found an Ethiopian eunuch traveling in his chariot. Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest (Acts 8:29,30)? It is obvious that Philip was used to obeying the Holy Spirit; and that day, he led that eunuch to salvation and baptized him in water.
Then the Bible records an unbelievable phenomenon: And when they [Philip and the eunuch] were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing (Acts 8:39). Philip was so completely yielded to the Holy Ghost that when his divine mission was completed, the Spirit picked him up and took him to a city that was miles away.
When the Bride of Christ has completed her divine mission on Earth, the Holy Ghost will lift her up out of the wilderness of this world and transport her to Heaven. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (I Corinthians 15:51,52).
Paul and Silas Set Free
Study the Book of the Acts of the Apostles, and you will learn that there was no hypocrisy in the Early Church. Those disciples had to be completely yielded to the cause of Christ and to the power and the fire of the Holy Ghost because they were enduring constant persecution. The higher the flames of persecution mounted against them the higher and hotter the fire of the Holy Ghost had to burn within them. It purified them of all contamination so they could truly rejoice as they gave their lives for the cause of Christ.
The Bible tells of Paul and Silas being arrested for casting a fortunetelling devil out of a young slave girl. She could no longer tell fortunes and make money for her masters, and they were so upset that they had Paul and Silas arrested. They were beaten, publicly humiliated and then thrown into the innermost part of the prison where their hands and feet were bound in stocks; but were Paul and Silas cast down, complaining and afraid they might be put to death the next day? No. The fire of the Holy Ghost was burning so brightly within them that they were rejoicing, praising God and singing hymns.
And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed (Acts 16:26). That great manifestation of the power of the Holy Ghost not only freed Paul and Silas but also shook the jailer. He had such overwhelming Holy Ghost conviction that he ran in and fell on his knees before Paul and Silas declaring, Sirs, what must I do to be saved (Acts 16:30)? That night, the jailer and his whole household came into the Kingdom of God.
Holy Ghost Fire Changes Things
The fire of the Holy Ghost burned brightly in the Apostle Paul, and it compelled him to pay any price to carry the Gospel to the Gentiles. He sacrificed greatly every day to establish the Gospel wherever he went no matter how much opposition and adversity he faced. He said, The Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God (Acts 20:23,24,27). The fire of the Holy Ghost filled Paul with such powerful, divine determination that no supernatural or earthly power could break it.
The fire of the Holy Ghost had such a tremendous impact on the known world in the Early Church days that the Bible said of those disciples, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also (Acts 17:6). Only the power of the Holy Ghost can turn the world upside down as it blazes through the lives of individuals. Man does not have that capability.
The Spirit Must Be Within
Friend, have you been baptized in the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues? Is the fire of the Holy Ghost burning so brightly within your vessel that it can purge you of all disobedience, selfishness, lukewarmness, love of the world, seducing spirits and negligence in your relationship with God?
The Word says, That he [Jesus] might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27). When Jesus makes His second appearance to Earth, He is coming for that glorious church. It includes people from all over the world and from all walks of life who are filled with and yielded to the Holy Ghost and who have kept their spiritual garments spotless.
Jesus is coming soon, and the signs of His return are all around today. He said, Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come (Matthew 24:42). Now is the time to be wide awake and yield to the Holy Ghost so completely that His fire will be ignited in your soul. Then you must never let it go out because no one knows when the Lord will come.
Let Jesus Save and Heal You
If you are not saved today, pray this prayer with me now: Oh, God, I confess all of my sins before you. Forgive me, Lord, and I will serve you for the rest of my life. I thank you for this warning, and I will make the most of it. I’ll be what you want me to be before Jesus returns. I believe there is power in the blood of Jesus that washes away all of my sins. Come into my heart, Jesus. Come into my heart.
Friend, if you meant that prayer, Jesus is yours. Now, you can have your miracle, healing or deliverance. Let the Lord make you a testimony for His honor and glory in this hour. Jesus said a believer shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:18). I’m the Lord’s believer, and I’m going to agree with you in prayer. Lift your hand, and let’s look to Jesus.
Lord, in the name of Jesus, I bring those who are sick in body, those with a great need in their life. Lord, lay a healing hand upon each one. In the holy, blood name of Jesus, heal! Deliver them; set them free, and make them a witness for your honor and glory. In the name of Jesus, I pray.
The Holy Ghost Must Live Within
Friend, you must receive the Holy Ghost in this last hour. You need to have that divine oil in your vessel, and you must let that divine fire ignite and burn out all the dross in your life. You won’t be ready for Jesus’ return any other way.
I am going to call down an anointing for you to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Then you can go to www.ErnestAngley.org and click on the Holy Ghost baptism link. There, it explains to you how to prepare for the Holy Ghost, how to receive Him and what to do after you receive.
Lord, in the name of Jesus, anoint the people who need this oil in their life and don’t have that flame burning within. Anoint them to yield completely and totally to the Holy Ghost. In the name of Jesus, receive this anointing, and yield to the Holy Ghost.
God bless you today.
