A startling video captured the moment a wild bull attacked a tourist multiple times on a beach in Mexico despite horrified onlookers pleading beforehand for the woman to move away from the massive beast.

The female tourist, who was not identified, was face-to-face with the bull as she stood under her tent at Baja California Sur in Cabo on Saturday, according to  The Sudcaliforniano .

Shockingly, the oblivious tourist did not try to flee from the aggressive cattle but instead began feeding it from a bowl while attempting to gather her things. 

The tourist, donning a tan hat and black sundress, eventually snatched her belongings from the four-legged, horned animal.

However, having fed the animal, it begins to follow her. 

She drops her things and momentarily steps back, but as the bull sticks its nose in her bag, she again gets dangerously close to it, yanking the bag away from the massive creature.

“Lady, you are really playing with it right now. Please don’t do that,” a male bystander pleads with her in English. 

The woman pushed the bull’s head away from her bag as the bystander continued urging her to “please” move away. 

“You’re not doing us any favors,” the man yelled. 

Seconds later, the bull begins to attack, shoving its horns in her direction and causing her to drop her bags and step back. 

Instead of fleeing from the potentially deadly situation, she tries to grab one of the bags. 

The bull then takes its horns and shoves them directly into her — plowing her body into the sand while other beachgoers hiding behind vehicles watch on in horror, unable to intervene. 

She gets up, but the bull seemingly strikes her in the face with one of its horns, causing her to fall. 

The tourist then is repeatedly attacked and rolled by the massive bull’s horns, kicking up cloud sand as she’s violently tossed around.

“We tried to f–king tell you,” the bystander added.

Fortunately, a brave woman carrying a bucket of water runs out from behind a truck and throws water at the bull, causing it to run away from the tourist, who scrambles to safety.

Federal Maritime-Terrestrial Zone operational coordinator in Los Cabos, Víctor Manuel Torres García, told The Sudcaliforniano that federal employees do not regularly patrol the beach where the attack happened, so no report was made.

He added that the condition and identity of the tourist gored by the bull are unknown.

If your social media timeline is anything like mine, it seems everyone is in Mexico . From girls-only trios eating and drinking their way through CDMX to spring breakers taking feet-first dives in cenotes in Tulum, people have jump started summertime behavior across the border. I, too, found myself searching for the sun in Cabo San Lucas , where the desert meets at the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. This region of Baja California has loads of vacation activities: whale watching from seaside hotels (humpback whales turn this area into their aquatic playground from December to April); wandering the quaint streets of downtown San José del Cabo, which is filled with vibrant shops of artisanal tequilas, Mexican folk art, " alebrijies " and embroidered textiles; trekking the Los Cabos canyon terrain; or sailing along the endless coastline in a party catamaran. However you want to experience Cabo, here's an essential items list for every adventure that awaits.

During its high season months (October to May), the weather can peak at 80s Farenheit and dip to 70s Farenheit. Yes, that's pretty warm but I still like traveling with layers. I always bring a classic jean or olive or tan khaki jacket that marries well with anything plus a stylish cotton or canvas tote that won't get weighed down with spare items (big scarves or a light sweatshirt). The beauty of Cabos San Lucas is that in four days you can experience everything from the canyons to the coast. Pack resort wear, swimsuits, athleisure, and flowy dresses so you can interchange your looks with ease.

I know you haven't even landed yet but Mexican's artisan rich culture will have you searching for space to squeeze in many of the embroidered and hand painted souvenirs that will surely spice up any space back home. Even a small-batch bottle of tequila will upgrade your bar cart. To ensure the safety of these items, be prepared to carefully wrap and bring them on the plane (except for the tequila if it's not bought at duty-free). Bring an extra bag , preferably collapsible, so that your vacation goodies will travel back unbroken.

Speaking of tequila, I've long wanted a bottle of Clase Azul Reposado (which comes in a distinctive ceramic white decanter with blue flourishes). Even though the Los Cabos region does not produce tequila or mezcal (that's done on the mainland in Jalisco, Mexico), Clase Azul is only sold in two boutique outposts in Los Cabos . The only other place is at Los Cabos International Airport but it's not duty free, which means it must go in your carry-on. If you have a direct flight to your destination, you're good. However, if your flight connects, you must check the luggage after your first leg.

Best Travel Tips for Cabo San Lucas

Much like any popular destination, location matters. Depending on your comfortability with walking and exploring a city like a local, staying within a mile or two of the arts district in downtown San José del Cabo will give you the best of both worlds: modern restaurants, eclectic shops and plenty of beach.

Since I live in a concrete jungle, I wanted a front row seat to Cabo's geological wonders: the Arch of Cabo San Lucas. The estimated three-story high granite formations are easily accessible by water and several catamarans and yachts that offer daily trips. However, I opted for a hotel with the Arch in its backyard. Whether from its 360 rooftop bar or my double balcony suite, the ME Cabo by Meliá offered unobstructed vistas of the Arch and ocean from sunrise to sunset.

The hotel, about 45 minutes from the airport, offers transfers through Meliá Transportation, so I didn't worry about navigating taxis or Ubers. Once I arrived at the property, I was assured that if I left anything at home, I was steps away from several bustling shops near the marina and Playa El Medano. But because I had been to Cabo before, I knew exactly what I needed and I'm sharing all the essentials for a little Mexican vacay, ahead.

While I was in Cabo, I wanted an experience that grounded me more in nature. Through my hotel's Destination Inclusive service, I was recommended for a group session with Sound Healing Los Cabos . The singing bowl therapy class would take place in the canyons nearby. Their only requirement was coming in comfortable clothes and an open spirit. I had both. The elastic band of my Uniqlo Pleated Straight Pants expanded with each deep breath I took, letting me feel chic and calm at the same time.

In Mexico, tequila is the national drink and it's rude if you don't partake. I'm kidding, of course. However, if you're not used to tequila, it can leave a nasty headache in the morning. For my coily, bleached-blond hair, I cannot take my chances on hotel shampoos and conditioners. My hair needs hydration and protection, especially after a day at the pool and/or beach. But I also need a little slip for my curls to bounce back. I found the perfect travel-size products to offer all three in Shea Moisture's Jamaican Black Castor Oil line. While not explicitly for dyed hair, it's color-safe and provides the moisture that keeps my hair healthy.
