Where is the Yacht in the Fortnite map?

Here's where you can find the Yacht in Fortnite.

Epic Games has gotten pretty creative with their season challenges in Fortnite Battle Royale. Typically tasking players with finding items in certain locations, or eliminating players, it can be a lot to keep up with. Add on top of that the fact that Fortnite’s map is constantly changing, and it's hard to know where everything is. Chapter 2 Season 3 has arrived and some of the challenges have players wondering, where is the Yacht in the Fortnite map?

One of the challenges in Fortnite Season 3 asks players to land at the Yacht and finish top 25. Players simply need to land at the Yacht, and then survive long enough to make it to the final 25 players alive. The Yacht referenced in the challenge is not the ship where Meowscles resided in Season 2, but an entirely new location that must be discovered. 

The Yacht can be found just northwest of Craggy Cliffs, stationed in the water. Before discovering the location, the yacht will be shadowed out. Since it’s an unnamed point of interest, “The Yacht” will still not be listed on the map after visiting it. 

Now all you have to do is land here after jumping from the battle bus, and then survive to the top 25. There’s bound to be a large number of players all landing at the Yacht to start the game, also looking to complete the challenge. We advise that you land and then make a quick escape, or prepare for a fight.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2: The Yacht Location Guide, Loot Locations, Where To Drop

Ever wanted your very own super-yacht? Well, this isn't quite the same, but you could certainly do worse than landing on The Yacht to start your Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 career. But where is best to land, and where is the best loot? We've got you covered.

Fornite Chapter 2 Season 2 offers a host of exciting changes to the map we all knew and loved throughout Season 1, including a super-yacht that has sailed into the north-east corner of the map.

The Yacht includes a whole host of loot, plenty of secret passages, and a giant golden statue of the elusive Midas. Nothing says humble like a giant golden statue of yourself, right?

If you're planning on dropping to The Yacht, head to the north of Steamy Stacks, but be sure not to miss and end up stranded in the ocean.

From there, follow our tips to make the most of your time at sea, and emerge ready and equipped to deal with the battle ahead.

Best Landing Spots

You can land pretty much anywhere you want on The Yacht, but some areas are much better than others.

We'd suggest landing on the back of the boat, but on the very top can work as well.

The front of the boat (with the large H Helipad) doesn't offer much loot and has plenty of NPC Henchmen patrolling.

Your main aim is to get to the vault in the basement of The Yacht, via the NPC boss Meowscles to grab the key card which will grant you access.

Meowscles patrols the main room at the centre of the boat, and your best chance of access is from the rear, as you can take cover under the stairway so other guards don't see you.

The alternative is disguising yourself in the telephone box at the front of the boat so you can walk in uninterrupted by NPCs - but this takes a long time while rival players are busy looting.

Loot Locations

As always, head straight for the vault when you arrive on The Yacht. Grab the keycard from Meowscles, beat the Henchmen, and get your goodies.

Meowscles' signature Legendary AK isn't really that good, so don't bother picking that up.

Watch out for players camping the vault, but the Supply Caches inside should sort you out with a full complement of loot.

Then take the Porta-Potty out of there, and find the three chests in the storage containers at the other end.

This puts you out on the mainland, ready to head towards the centre and the bigger fights.

Finding Cover

The Yacht is a surprisingly open area, especially on the front deck and in the main room.

After killing Meowscles, try to stick to the higher ground or the basement areas to avoid getting shot.

There are a lot of NPC Henchmen in this small area, so be careful even when landing alone, or take cover in the smaller rooms beside the big room - the ones with the cat flaps that you have to crawl through.

These are great places to top up your shields, as you'll see and hear enemies coming.

Best Weapons

While you may prefer a shotgun below decks, Assault Rifles remain the best choice on top.

There are some longer-ranged areas, and you may need to take out Meowscles from a distance to avoid being taken out by massed Henchmen.

The Assault Rifles will come in handy once you go through the Porta-Potty and end up on the mainland.

You'll find yourself pretty open, and aside from campers at the exit, so the range will come in handy.

Pros And Cons

The Yacht is a little bit loot lite, and quite far from anywhere else on the map. If it's near the Battle Bus path, it'll likely be busy with everyone after the sweet vault loot, but if it's too far then your time could be better spent elsewhere.

If you're headed to Steamy Stacks and it seems a bit busy, The Yacht may be a good second choice, but other areas seem to offer better rewards this season.

Where is the Yacht in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3

They say a rising tide lifts all boats, but in  Fortnite,  it also seems to move them. The Yacht has been moved by the floodwaters, and can no longer be found in near Steamy Stacks. The Yacht can now be found in the north of the map, right around the middle. You can see it marked on the map below.

The Yacht has also gone through some pretty dramatic changes. There are no more Henchmen to be found, although various references to Deadpool have survived, as he kicked Meowscles off it last season and took over. You can still find art, and Deadpool’s mighty chair, but the Vault is gone. The door is simply open now, and it might contain a loot chest, but that is it.

The Yacht isn’t a terrible place to land for a couple of reasons. There are plenty of chests and ammo boxes here, so you can get well looted up before you need to leave. There is also a reboot van for folks playing Duos and Squads, so if you lose someone in an early skirmish, you can bring them back.

You can also find a Loot Shark here, so if you want to ride one of those, just grab the plentiful fishing poles that will spawn on the Yacht and catch it like you would any normal fish. Finally, there is a helicopter, so once you are finished, you can easily get to any other part of the map, which makes it a solid, viable dropping point, as you are never really that far from anywhere else.

Where is the Yacht in Fortnite? (Season 3)

Landmarks are a bit different than named locations on the Fortnite map. You won't really know you're in a spot until you enter it and the name of it pops up on your screen. So, if you're trying to find the location of The Yacht, you might not know where to start looking. Well, we've got the exact spot you need to go if you're looking to complete your Aquaman challenge!

Where is The Yacht?

You will want to head to the most northern portion and smack dab in the middle of the map to find The Yacht. It's right in the E1 quadrant on your map, so it's hard to miss if you look towards the top. It's northeast of Pleasant Park and northwest of Craggy Cliffs .

Once you get to The Yacht, you'll notice that there's a whole lot of leftover Deadpool stuff! You just can't keep the man down, he's got all sorts of stuff here that bears his resemblance.

Why are people looking for The Yacht?

Well, there's quite a few challenges to find here. In week 5 , you'll need to land at The Yacht and then finish in the top 25 to complete it. I've heard some people having a bug with this one, so there's a trick to finish it easily. Just go into Team Rumble and land at The Yacht. You'll just now need to leave the game right after you've landed there and you will get credit!

Where to find Deadpool floaties at The Yacht in Fortnite Chapter 2, season 3

Fortnite ’s Chapter Two, season three  went live  earlier this month with a new battle pass and challenges, rewarding experience to help players level up.

Like previous seasons, this one also kicked off with an initial set of weekly challenges that rewarded 35,000 XP each. Most of them were more straightforward than last season’s Location Domination challenges, which was a welcomed change for many battle pass enthusiasts.

The second week of the season brought a new set of challenges. Fortnite players will once again roam around the map to get some sweet XP. One task requires you to find Deadpool’s floaties at The Yacht.

Where are the Deadpool floaties located?

Despite the recent flood in Fortnite , The Yacht is still alive—well, at least its remains are. It’s still located in the north part of the map, but it shifted toward the left a bit. Deadpool’s floaties are scattered across this landmark.

There are four floaties that can be hard to find if you don’t know where to look due to their dark colors. You’ll need to locate and interact with at least three of them to complete this challenge.

The first floatie is in the orange container located in the middle of The Yacht. Another one can be found at the top level of the blue building that’s close to the orange container.

The third one is located just outside the blue building, between two sunbeds and a Deadpool umbrella. The fourth floatie can be found in a small building at the end of The Yacht.

Once you find three of Deadpool’s floaties, you’ll earn 35,000 XP.

Week 2 of Fortnite's third season is here, and even though this season seems all about the Fortnite Aquaman skin , we've got more Deadpool challenges to complete if you want extra XP: this time, it's finding Fortnite Deadpool floaties.

One week 2 challenge tasks you with finding three Deadpool floaties on the Yacht, which after the climactic flood of season 2 is now pretty worse for wear. It's a big boat, though, which means you'll need some help finding them.

The yacht has been moved to the north/center-north area of the map. You'll recognize it from the various Deadpool insignias all around. Once you're there, here's where to look.

Fortnite Deadpool floatie locations

1: At the very top floor of the yacht (right behind the Deadpool balloon) you'll find a room with a painting of Deadpool wearing a Jacobean-style ruff (the puffy white neck thing aristocrats would've worn). The floaty is in the corner of the room.

2: Head out the north door from that first floaty and drop down to the first Deadpool umbrella a floor or two below. The floaty is right underneath it.

3: Further south on the yacht, you'll see a large orange shipping container. Inside is a couch, bed, and loot chest. The floaty is right in front of the bed.

Fortnite Deadpool floaties at The Yacht locations: Where to find all the inflatables

If you're looking for the Deadpool floaties locations in Fortnite, here's where you can find them at The Yacht

They may have been the guest star of last season, but thanks to the Fortnite Deadpool floaties we still get to experience the Merc with a Mouth. You need to find five of these for one of the Fortnite Week 2 challenges , but with some big changes coming in for the new season you might not be sure where to look. Indeed, The Yacht has been altered significantly as it's no longer a named location on the map, and it's also moved from the previous mooring in the northeast corner of the island.

Don't worry though, because we've tracked down where The Yacht is now sitting in Fortnite , as well as collecting all of the swimming aids for this challenge. If you're ready to find all of the Fortnite Deadpool floaties locations, then read on and we'll show you exactly where you need to look.

Fortnite The Yacht location

The transition to Season 3 has not been kind to The Yacht and it's looking somewhat ramshackle these days, though it does still have a working dance floor complete with a giant Midas / Deadpool statue overlooking it. You'll now find The Yacht in grid E1, in the middle of the north edge of the map.

Fortnite Deadpool floaties locations

You'll find the first of the Fortnite Deadpool floaties inside the orange container bedroom on the southeast platform, on the upper level with a telescope and parasol on top.

The second of the Fortnite Deadpool floaties is tucked away on the lowest level of the main Yacht, in the corner next to a chest being filmed against a green screen background.

For the third of the Fortnite Deadpool floaties you'll need to head up into the roof rafters high above the dance floor, then look in the corner of the side room lined up with benches.

The fourth of the Fortnite Deadpool floaties is chilling out on the deck to the west of the dance floor, under a parasol between a couple of sun loungers overlooking a rusty bridge section.

The fifth and final entry for the Fortnite Deadpool floaties can be found inside the red hut, down at the far north end of the main Yacht deck.

So that's all you need to know – walk up and interact with any three of the five Fortnite Deadpool floaties and the challenge will be completed.

Fortnite: The Yacht Location / Deadpool Floaties Guide

Find the Yacht and the remnants of Deadpool's pool party in this guide.

Fortnite : Chapter 2 Season 2 may be over, but little bits of Deadpool's pool party are still popping up. One of the challenges in Season 3's Week 2 tasks you with going to the ruins of Deadpool's Yacht to collect three red and black floaties. You'll get a big reward after completing this challenge. Get all of Deadpool's content done before you start on Aquaman's new content as part of Season 3.

Deadpool Yacht Location

The Yacht was left in pieces after The Device event submerged the entire Season 3 map in water. The remains of the boat can be found at the very northern tip of the map. It's got huge holes, new sections, and no people on board. Be wary though as the Yacht regularly falls out of the storm early in the game. Water is much more of a nuisance now than it was prior to The Device event.

Deadpool Floaties Locations

There are four floaties located on the boat, but you only need to collect three. One is on the very highest level next to a golden chest near the back end of the boat, a second is on the left hand side in between two beach chairs on the deck of the boat, and a third is located on the right hand side of the boat in one of the shipping containers connected to it.

What Reward Do You Get for Completing The Challenge?

Collecting all the necessary floaties will give you 40,000 experience points.

8 Best Landing Spots In Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1

A new chapter of Fortnite means a brand-new island to explore, with dozens of excellent landing spots for players to choose from. Picking the best landing spot is a crucial first step in any Fortnite match, and a solid start puts you in the best possible position for a Victory Royale. Luckily, the new island has lots of great landing spots, regardless of how you prefer to play.

Recent Fortnite Chapter 5 map leaks turned out to be surprisingly accurate, and there are a few interesting features for new and returning players to be aware of. Many areas of the island are now connected by high-speed rail, and you’ll find many of the game’s biggest locations are home to aggressive and hostile NPC bosses. These are all things to keep in mind when choosing the best landing spot.

10 Games That Deserve Their OG Maps Just As Much As Fortnite

Stage a daring train robbery with your squad.

Previous seasons of Fortnite had great landing spots, but The Train is perhaps the most unique landing spot ever introduced. Unlike other landing spots, it doesn’t stick to a single location and is constantly on the move, circling the whole island in just under ten minutes. There are stations to hop aboard all across the island, but you can also take the highly unconventional approach of landing straight on the Train.

This is difficult to pull off even under the best conditions, as the Train moves quickly, and you will need to get your timing absolutely spot on. However, you and your squad can receive great starting loot if you manage it. The Train features four basic chests and a large chest that eventually showers you with loot items after you hack it.

Landing on the Train can also prove risky. Unlike Fortnite’s other season-exclusive vehicles , players have no control over the Train, and it follows a predetermined route through areas that see a lot of player traffic. You’ll need to watch for other squads who might decide to hitch a ride to try and take your items.

You’ll also need to watch your Storm Circles to make sure the Train doesn’t pull you into danger.

The Island North Of Lavish Lair

A quieter start with plenty of forage.

Named Locations and Landmarks on the Fortnite island all tend to share one quality: they’re always busy. As such, picking an unmarked area can give you and your squad some extra breathing room to loot and gear up without interruptions. Lots of players prefer a louder start, but quietly setting up while your opponents chip away at their own numbers is just as valid.

The island north of Lavish Lair is ideal if you prefer a stealthier approach. Its size means there are several loot chests to be found scattered around the area, which should be enough for a duo or a trio to fill a loadout. Unfortunately, loot drops are random in all but a few rare cases, so there’s no way to guarantee you’ll get your favorite guns.

Unvaulted items from Fortnite Season OG have gone back into the vault, but you’ll still find different variants of the same weapon type, whether you like shotguns or sniper rifles.

The island also excels as a landing spot due to an unusual abundance of forage. Veteran players will already be familiar with harvesting Fortnite’s fruit and vegetables , and they’re a quick alternative to potions and bandages. The island has lots of Mushrooms, which raise your shields by 5 points each. It isn’t always easy to build shields in the early-game, but forage gives you the chance to protect yourself better. The island is also ideal for solo players.

Hazy Hillside

A great choice for anyone in a festive mood.

Located in the snowy biome to the south of Reckless Railways, Hazy Hillside brims with holiday spirit. It’s a medium-sized hamlet with several large buildings, all packed with loot. The buildings also have good verticality, creating some great sightlines for sniper rifles. It’s also fairly close to the center of the island, making it a popular landing spot. In summary, if you enjoy early-game firefights, then you won’t usually lack company at Hazy Hillside.

Assuming you emerge victorious, there are also good transport options to get your squad moving. There are usually cars available, and the Train runs just to the north through a tunnel that’s also home to Hope , one of Fortnite Chapter 5’s new NPCs . She’ll trade a Rift To Go and Grapple Blade for Gold Bars: both great items for traversal and combat.

The Marigold

Go on a less than leisurely cruise.

Docked at the mouth of the river past Pleasant Piazza is The Marigold : a mega-yacht belonging to the Society. This mysterious faction has taken over several locations, and their henchmen and leaders will frequently challenge you and your squad. Luckily, by visiting The Marigold, you can take something from them instead.

The Marigold has surprisingly formidable defenses, including automated turrets and patrolling henchmen, but if you’re quick and clever, you can take them out and claim a whole yacht’s worth of loot for yourself. The ship has several decks, including a luxurious upper deck fit for high society. Below decks lies a prize that’s always worth claiming: a locked vault.

To open the locked vault on the Marigold, you’ll need to defeat a henchman and claim a Yacht Keycard.

Unlike Fortnite’s other secret vaults , The Marigold’s vault isn’t sealed with puzzles. Once you open it, you’ll find a Rare Chest, which only drops Epic or Legendary-quality items and gear.

Grand Glacier Hotel

A brief stay in a high-class establishment.

You can carry on the theme of challenging and robbing the Society by visiting the Grand Glacier Hotel , a premier establishment on the edge of a scenic glacier that drops off into a freezing-cold lake. Aside from spectacular views, you’ll also find lots of chests and weapons as ground loot.

However, you’ll need every item you can find. The hotel is a magnet for squads who love early-game firefights and a mad scramble for loot. Adding to the pressure are The Society’s own henchmen and the NPC boss Montague, who won’t hesitate to try and kill anyone who gets in their way. It’s an essential challenge for players who love combat.

Montague will rapidly regenerate his shields, making it tough for you to take him down. However, once you do, you can claim Montague’s Enforcer AR and his Society Medallion. This passively regenerates your shields over time, but also marks your rough location for other players. You’ll want to use the same tactics you may have used to beat Fortnite’s Highcard boss .

Snooty Steppes

Challenge a familiar face to battle.

Snooty Steppes is essentially a one-stop shop with everything you might need to score a Victory Royale. It’s dense and packed with loot, has a locked vault, and even features another unique NPC boss: Family Guy’s very own Peter Griffin. Peter’s presence makes it a must-visit location for any fans of the adult animated series, and even non-fans will want to challenge him at least once.

Opinions differ about whether Fortnite has a crossover problem , but Peter’s presence is a net positive for players who love rare gear. Like Montague, Peter will rapidly regenerate his shields and is tough to kill, but will also chase you down while shouting references from the show.

He drops a Society Medallion and Peter Griffin’s Hammer Pump Shotgun , a Mythic quality Shotgun that deals incredible damage. As a nice bonus, you can use the Society Medallion to open the vault at Snooty Steppes to receive additional items.

Fencing Fields

Enjoy a stroll through fortnite’s finest orchards.

Fencing Fields is a rather picturesque vineyard and orchard, with lovely low-rise farm buildings, a fine dining establishment, and a fountain square. Naturally, it also belongs to The Society, and you’ll need to fight off their henchmen and Nisha, another NPC boss to really make the most of this location.

Nisha drops Nisha’s Striker AR : a Mythic quality Assault Rifle, and her Society Medallion.

You can grab plenty of loot from this location and explore the surrounding fields to collect Flowberries . These restore some shield hitpoints when consumed, but also grant you a temporary low-gravity effect that also removes fall damage. As a nice bonus, the fields all have additional loot chests you can crack open for even more loot. There are also ziplines heading south to the railway line.

Reckless Railways

The heart of fortnite’s new rail network.

Reckless Railways is home to Grand Station, the biggest station on the Fortnite island’s new railway line, and it’s one of the best places on the island to catch the Train. There’s also plenty of ground loot and chests inside the station itself, which tends to attract lots of players in every match. It’s the very definition of a hot zone, drawing in solo players and squads searching for battle throughout the game.

Reckless Railways is also home to Valeria, another Society NPC boss. Make sure to take her keycard and open her vault.

Grand Station might be the centerpiece of this location, but there are also surrounding buildings that provide extra loot and cover. Winning firefights in Reckless Railways requires you to use your surroundings, losing your enemies behind buildings and taking advantage of close quarters and verticality. Facing west, you’ll find a massive open town square that allows any player with a sniper rifle to score elimination after elimination.

It’s also a good idea to keep an eye out for temporary locations such as Loot Islands, which appear at random and contain one of Fortnite’s Capture Points, which drop extremely rare loot. These are just some of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 , and you’ll want to do your own exploring during your matches to find landing spots that best fit your playstyle.
