Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 2,764 nautical miles from her 26,000 litre fuel tanks at cruising speed. Ocean Pearl features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels.

Ocean Pearl knows a thing or two about fun on the water, with a selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to enjoy whilst on charter. Take to the sea on a Jet Ski offering you power and control on the water. Also there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. The 41-meter motor yacht OCEAN PEARL is one of the most modern-looking superyachts in charter. Designed by world-renowned architects, Foster & Partners, yacht OCEAN PEARL presents a fresh, innovative, and dramatic contemporary design.  The yacht has approximately 30% more deck space than any other similar mega yacht.  This jewel offers well-designed, luxurious, and flexible accommodations for 12 guests.

FOSTER & PARTNERS

The internal planning of the Foster & Partners yacht OCEAN PEARL offers total flexibility. Specifically, to respond to the most discerning requirements of the guests. All furnishings and fittings are provided by the Italian manufacturer Cassina.

Her build was part of a fractional yacht ownership program. Investors participate in the program.  The vessel has two identical sisterships. Moreover, they are OCEAN SAPPHIRE and OCEAN EMERALD.  All three vessels charter in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.

The luminous superyacht features floor-to-ceiling windows.  Additionally, a panoramic saloon on the upper deck.  The salon has wide, unobstructed views of the horizon. Natural materials such as solid teak and coconut husk fiber flooring dissipate the boundaries. Specifically, between the lush interior and the sleek, chic outer deck. This gives an elegant effect.

OWNER’S SUITE

The Owner’s suite is on the main deck. In addition, access is through a private entry corridor. Four guest cabins are situated on the lower deck. Two aft VIP cabins have queen beds. Further, two forward cabins each have two single beds and one Pullman bed.  All cabins enjoy flat-screen TV monitors and music systems.

The main salon is an open plan minimalist haven flooded with light from floor-to-ceiling windows and large glass doors opening to the aft deck. Interior and exterior areas have been treated as one continuous space with the teak decking flowing seamlessly from one to the other. Originating from the Christensen Shipyards ship building company in the United States the OCEAN PEARL is 35 m 115 (ft) in length. Launched in 1990 this boat’s interior design and decor proffers the established conceptualisation of the design work of Mary Roberts. Superyacht OCEAN PEARL is able to accommodate up to 8 guests with 5 crew. Her former names or project names were Royal Oak Ii; Okumura; Crystal Spirit; Thomas Spirit Ii. She is able to attain a high speed of 15 knots.

The New Build & Yacht Design of Luxury Yacht OCEAN PEARL

Glade Johnson was the naval architect involved in the formal nautical design work for OCEAN PEARL. Also the company Glade Johnson expertly collaborated on this project. Interior designer Mary Roberts was responsible for the overall interior styling. Created at Christensen Shipyards the yacht was constructed in the recognised yachting country the United States. She was successfully launched in Vancouver Wa in 1990 before being transferred to the owner. The core hull was constructed with composite. The motor yacht main superstructure is fabricated mostly using composite. With a beam of 7.47 metres / 24.5 feet OCEAN PEARL has moderate internal space. She has a reasonably shallow draught of 2.13m (7ft). She had refit maintenance and changes carried out in 2002.

The Main Engines And The Crusie Speed That M/Y OCEAN PEARL is Capable Of:

The 3412 engine powering the yacht is built by CATERPILLAR. Her propulsion units are twin screw propellers. The main engine of the ship gives 764 horse power (or 562 kilowatts). She is equiped with 2 engines. The sum output for the yacht is thus 1528 HP or 1124 KW. As far as stabalisers are concerned she was supplied with Naiad.

Prices are inclusive of a professional crew consisting of a captain, chef, and dedicated crew member, ensuring personalized assistance throughout all activities in San Blas.

Boat rental rate per day is $1400, inclusive of air conditioning / moderate use. A daily supplement of $150 applies for extended hours of use.

During the period from December 20th to January 10th, there is a 20% increase in the boat rental rate, while during Carnival and Easter, there is a 10% increase.

The rate per person per day is $250. Children under 8 years old receive a 30% discount, and children under 2 years old stay free when sleeping with their parents. Small pets are allowed with a $100 supplement, but they cannot sleep in the cabin.

Embarkation and disembarkation times are between 9 am and 10 am. An additional half-day fee is applicable for disembarkations after lunch at 3:30 pm.

The minimum occupancy is for 2 persons, and the maximum is for 5 adults. The charter duration is a minimum of two nights.

Meet Captain Mikel and Nuria, along with their beloved dog Kuki, the owners and hosts of Ocean Pearl.

With a profound passion for the sea, they bring over 25 years of seafaring experience, having served as captains aboard the Rafael Verdera, the oldest active ship in the Spanish fleet ( www.rafaelverdera.com ). Their expertise spans diverse Mediterranean experiences including whale watching, diving, charters, and events, always complemented by a commitment to balanced and healthy cuisine.

Currently, they're embarking on a new adventure along the Caribbean coast of Panama, embracing warm waters year-round aboard their new vessel. They invite those seeking to spend days sailing and exploring the captivating natural wonders of the San Blas archipelago to join them.

Accompanied by a local crew member, who assists with onboard operations and offers insights into fishing, snorkeling, and local culture, Mikel and Nuria eagerly share their firsthand knowledge and passion for the sea with their guests.

Ocean Pearl’s classic and elegant profile conceals a roomy, spacious interior with a well-equipped galley, spacious saloon, a lower helm station, and two cabins. Her large saloon windows provide panoramic views of our beautiful cruising grounds and let in lots of natural light.

Recent upgrades include, new countertops, sinks and faucets in the galley and heads, in addition to other touches that have made her feel young and comfortable. The forward part of the mid-cabin has standing headroom, plus a hanging locker. Alongside this cabin is a large size head and a bathtub that is cleverly shared by both cabins. The large master stateroom features a popular island double berth. This stateroom also has a hanging locker and separate head. With extra guests aboard, the saloon table drops down and an infill cushion makes yet another double bunk. Added comfort features include an icemaker in the wet bar, and a built-in electric blender.

The swim platform houses a Seawise electric davit system supporting a 12' semi-rigid center-console dinghy and a 20hp Yamaha outboard engine. The flybridge is completely enclosed, and in 2018, a hard top aft deck was installed.

Khimki is part of the Moscow conurbation, on the banks of the Moscow channel and the Klyazma river, and one of the highest density rate in the region.

Before the city, there were several noble lands, which villages are still exist. During the late 19th century, the site of Khimki station became (and remains) the place of Muscovite dachas. Khimki was granted city status, and the Stariye Khimki development was completed. Since then, development programs have turned the countryside into an important city in the region.

Today, Khimki is not only a residential district, but also an important economic and trade center of the Moscow conurbation.

Get in [ edit ]

Since Khimki is close to Moscow, has very high population density and a lot of development projects, the city is under blockade by Moscow to protect the capital's transport infrastructure from the flood of people and vehicles migrating in and out every day. There are no ways of comfortable and fast way to get the city.

By car [ edit ]

Khimki is accessible by car via Leningradsky Hwy from Moscow. The part of this highway from Moscow till end of Khimki city limits is the busiest road in Russia.

By public transport [ edit ]

By suburban train from Leningradskii station to Khimki station or Levoberegnaya platform (a district on the left bank of Moscow channel).

A lot of buses and marshrutkas run from Rechnoy Vokzal metro station, at the north end of the Green Line. You can also reach Khimki by marshrutka, bus or trolleybus from Planernaya metro station.

Sanlorenzo launches first fuel-cell powered 50Steel superyacht

Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo has launched its highly-anticipated 49.9-metre superyacht at its La Spezia facilities. With hotel load powered by "green" methanol and fuel cell reformer technology, the yacht marks one of a small, but growing number of yachts exploring alternative power sources in a bid for carbon-neutral cruising. Delivery is scheduled for July 2024.

Christened Almax , the new model has been designed by Piero Lissoni and Zuccon International Project (interiors and exteriors respectively) and the shipyard reports that four units in the new line have been sold already.

The launch ceremony was held as part of an open day for over 700 guests that included clients, journalists and friends of the shipyard. The event invited attendees to tour and sea trial various Sanlorenzo and Bluegame models, as well as visit the yachts under construction. 

The fuel-cell technology on Almax will convert biomethanol (or "green" methanol) into electricity up to a maximum of 100kW, which will allow the yacht to sit at anchor completely emission-free. The yard estimated this could cover up to "90 per cent of the typical usage time of a superyacht with zero emissions". 

As well as its sustainable credentials, the yacht will also have what Sanlorenzo is calling a Hidden Engine Room (or HER). The newly-patented design sees the engine room concealed in the lower deck in a way that frees up space on the aft to create an open, 150-square-metre "Ocean Lounge" beach club with a pool and unfolding sea terraces. The horizontal positioning of the engine room also gives way to an unusual split-level layout that was first seen on the SP110 and creates impressive head heights of between 2.1 metres and 3.35 metres.

The new line of superyachts embodies the pioneering spirit and passion for challenges that have always guided us in the design and construction of our fleet," said Massimo Perotti, chairman and CEO of Sanlorenzo. "I believe what sets us apart is the ability to drive industry innovation, embracing cutting-edge technology and sustainability to achieve the ambitious goals of reducing our environmental footprint."

The new 50Steel will sit below 500GT and will offer accommodation across five cabins, including the owner's cabin. Guest accommodation will be accompanied by a gym and spa area.
