Specifications

Overall, the QUINTA ESSENTIA yacht’s length is 55m with a 10.2m beam. She is made with an aluminum hull and superstructure as well as a multitude of decks that are ideal for relaxation and entertainment. 

With her hybrid propulsion system, she comfortably cruises at 15 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 6,500 nautical miles from her 80,000-liter fuel tanks at 9 knots.

She has a fuel capacity of 75 liters and a gross tonnage of 870GT. She also highlights at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels and assuring safe, silent, and efficient navigation. 

Accommodation

The QUINTA ESSENTIA yacht offers luxurious accommodations for up to 12 charter guests distributed in six themed cabins.

Seven cabins are also in place to house 13 cabin crews, including the captain, to make life on board as comfortable as a royal. 

Her accommodation layout comprises a master suite with a balcony, a VIP cabin with a private deck and a full-circle view, and four guest cabins with bed configurations, including two convertibles. 

The yacht hosts several destressing facilities, including a luxury spa, beauty salon, swimming pool, well-equipped gym, and an upper deck jacuzzi.

She is equipped with a helipad so that guests can have an impeccable transfer to and from anywhere they want.

Her water toys and accessories ensure that the guests’ stay is extra memorable and fun.

These include 2 x F5s Seabobs, 2 x Jetsurf Ultrasport, 2 x Seadoo Wake pro 230 wave runners, 2 x Jobe wakeboards, 1 x Water-ski Selection of towables (for eight pax in total), and fishing/ snorkeling equipment among others. 

The yacht’s exterior is a masterpiece by Dobroserdov Designs , with Vripack as the naval architect. 

She features four teak decks that cater to the charter guests’ relaxation and entertainment needs.

On the upper decks, guests can enjoy alfresco dining and some get-together chitchats in the ample living spaces. 

The lounge area also features a large swimming pool on the lower aft deck. 

Quinta Essentia’s asking price is €22,000,000.

The Launch of Quinta Essentia

The 180-foot Quinta Essentia is the largest yacht built by Admiral Yachts to date, and launched at The Italian Sea Group’s yard in Marina di Carrara.

The owner is an experienced yachtsman who has owned multiple well-known yachts.

Quinta Essentia is equipped with a hybrid propulsion system that combines two traditional engines with two electric motors for a nearly silent cruise when desired.

Interestingly, Admiral Yachts is currently working on an even larger yacht due to launch in 2018. Stay tuned for more on this new project.

Quinta Essentia is a custom motor yacht launched in 2016 by Admiral Yachts, in Italy.

Headed by Founder & Chairman Giovanni Costantino, The Italian Sea Group is one of the biggest conglomerate of the world for constructions up to 200 m, having built 575 ships and yachts since 1942.

Quinta Essentia measures 54.50 metres in length, with a max draft of 2.50 feet and a beam of 10.20 feet. She has a gross tonnage of 873 tonnes. She has a deck material of teak.

Quinta Essentia has an aluminium hull with an aluminium superstructure.

Her interior design is by Michela Reverberi.

Admiral’s new 180-foot Quinta Essentia is the largest motor yacht ever launched by the Italian shipyard. The yacht’s naval architecture was by Dutch firm Vripack, which worked with Dobroserdov Design to create a very progressive-looking profile over the full-displacement hull. The owner, an experienced yachtsman, mandated a greener machine than his previous superyachts, so the shipyard went to all-aluminum construction to save on weight and added an advanced diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system. The system integrates two traditional diesels with electric motors connected to variable-speed generators. The powerplants, one of the most quiet and fuel-efficient propulsion systems in yachting, delivers a top speed of 16 knots but will cruise at 15 knots in comfort, with a range of 3,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. In battery/electric mode, the onboard noise and vibration levels are minimal.

Michela Reverberi’s interior is warm and rich, using muted earth colors and other natural textures, along with custom decor, to create an unusually tranquil atmosphere. The yacht accommodates 12 guests in six suites that employ the element design themes of air, fire, earth, and water.  The yacht also features both open and covered deck areas, all quite large, that work with the interior to give an informal, relaxed sensibility to the exterior. Other noteworthy amenities include a gym, spa, sauna, swimming pool, and touch-and-go helipad. The yacht also has sizable beach club for water sports as well as at-anchor stabilizers. The First Admiral 55m QUINTA ESSENTIA Launched

At the Italian Sea Group shipyard everything is ready for the launch of the outstanding 55 hybrid yacht called “Quinta Essentia”.

The yacht has already been loaded on the trolleys and moved onto the floating barge, ready for the launch which will take place today.

It is the biggest yacht ever built by Admiral Yachts, until the 75 m currently under construction at the shipyard in Marina di Carrara will be launched in 2018.

“Quinta Essentia” was built for a very experienced Owner, who owned many worldwide renowned yachts in the past. Admiral is therefore proud to announce the build and launch of such an innovative yacht with hi-tech features which allow the yacht to get a low environmental impact in comparison with other similar yachts of the same size boasting traditional propulsion.

Quite Essential: All the elements of a perfect superyacht

Quite Essential (ex- Quinta Essentia ) is of all-aluminium construction and is strikingly handsome in creamy-white paint, with a contrasting regal red that has been used to cover the transom, moving forward as a broad band through the bulwarks almost to the bow, then outlined by a narrow silver stripe. The effect is dramatic yet easy on the eye.

Externally, the lines are arguably among the best ever penned by Frank Laupman. ‘The owner expressed a desire to see the sea from just about anywhere inside, regardless of standing, sitting or lying down,’ he says. ‘This idea was carried through to the main and upper deck saloons, as well as the owner’s quarters.’

Designed to be semi-displacement, this powerful yacht is capable of 24 knots with a cruising speed of 18 and is the end product of some of the greatest names in the industry, not forgetting the owner’s astute input of ideas and specifics. Apart from Laupman of Omega , Heesen’s in-house naval architects, in consultation with Van Oossanen & Associates , were responsible for the naval architecture. Ken Freivokh laid down the parameters for the interior, while Michela Reverberi , with the owner’s assent, produced a delightfully balanced and enticing décor.

The original owner’s choice of ship’s name was inspired by the gods of Greek mythology and their guardianship of the quinta essentia , the magical fifth element, and was intended to set the theme for the décor. In this way, the four base elements – earth, air, fire and water – would be used to express the interior, leaving the yacht as the mystical unknown element, the quinta essentia .

Even when launched, it was much remarked that the interior evoked the sensation of being aboard a 72 metre, substantiated by remarkably high ceilings and relocation of the galley one deck down. This latter decision expands the owner’s accommodation into a veritable apartment and the feeling is continued in the guest accommodation, where everything is full of natural light. General layout is for six en suites which consists of the owner’s apartment, a VIP, a twin bed cabin and three doubles, two of which will convert into an additional full-beam VIP if required.

Continuing the theme and sensation of light and space is the starboard main deck side-entrance lobby, where a spectacular spiral glass staircase, whose Bernard Pictet glasswork walls resemble frozen streams of water, surrounds a cylindrical glass lift, both of which serve three decks.

Public spaces are delightful, with inviting seating areas and big windows making maximum use of the glazed balconies. Formal dining is on the upper deck and comprises a circular glazed table set within huge curved-glass doors aft. Immediately forward is a semi-circle of sofas positioned so as to take advantage of the panoramic views or the entertainments centre. Similarly, the sun deck has an equally huge outside dining table, plus an intimate saloon facing forward.

On the main deck, the owner’s wife’s love of flowers led to discussions with Reverberi resulting, for example, in the cushions having the end third covered in a riot of wildflower arrangements, with matching throw cushions. The result is joyous yet relaxing.

In keeping with the overall theme of base white for walls and ceilings, carpeting throughout is hand-woven white silk, within which Reverberi has introduced diminishing wave-like brush-strokes in colours indicative of the elements, while her intuitive interpretation of the guest suites is masterful. Often where other interiors offer ‘nice but untouchable’, Reverberi has achieved the opposite and made hers pleasingly livable.

Outside deck areas are sensational, having been planned for maximum enjoyment and comfort, yet with the same expression of spaciousness. The sun deck forward in particular is vast. Many yacht's main decks aft are virtually unusable in terms of privacy when stern-to in the marina. For Quite Essential , which has a spa pool aft on her main deck, a wide, opaque curtain of water falls from the deck above. This remarkable feature is dense enough to project movies on, ensures privacy and helps keep the area cool.

Quite Essential navigates with state-of-the-art electronics and carries a superlative guest-controlled system for audio/visual, communications, general functions and crew calling. Several underwater cameras permit viewing of the world below on any monitor on board. Another interesting feature is the side-loading float-on-float-off system for the 7.5 metre Limo tender, which has its own docking pool.

While being the owner’s pride and joy, she is available for selective charter on both sides of the Atlantic, with Nakhimov in Monaco. A good selection of water toys plus a top-class chef and immeasurable levels of comfort should guarantee happy go-anywhere ‘elemental’ charter delights, fit even for the hedonistic gods of mythology.

After You was the largest and one of the most powerful Heesen yachts when she was delivered in 2011. Powered by a pair of 4,300kW, MTU 20V 4000 M93L diesel engines, After You will reach a notable top speed of 24 knots. In consultation with Van Oossanen Associates, Heesen’s in-house naval architects have created a sophisticated and highly efficient hard-chine hull, while Frank Laupman from Omega Architects drew the sleek and elegant exterior lines.

With her pelican beak bow and reverse sheer, ' After You ' clearly shows her Heesen pedigree. The owners, in collaboration with Dobroserdov Design, personally worked on the colour scheme, which features a combination of a custom metallic dark red Awlgrip paint that is combined with oyster white. The inspiration for the dark red tone is taken from Montemaggio Merlot and reflects another of the owner’s passions – fine Tuscan wines. The same colour scheme is repeated on the limousine tender, designed by Vripak and custom built in New Zealand by Vaudrey Miller. 

The discreet luxury of After You’s interior was conceived by interior designer Ken Freivokh and further developed by Michela Reverberi, who was responsible for the detailing and interior decoration.

After You’s design offers some notably luxurious features, such as the largest owners’ stateroom seen on any of Heesen’s yachts, which has been a personal input of the owner. In size it is comparable to those found on yachts of over 80 metres, while she is also the first in the Heesen fleet to sport a tender bay that can be flooded to allow easy launching and recovery of the tenders, and a swimming pool on the main deck that is filled by a waterfall. The gym and spa facilities, including a steam room and a massage room, play a key role on the sun deck.

Built in 2011, After You offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising a master suite, four double cabins and one twin cabin. There are 7 beds in total, including 1 king, 1 queen, 3 doubles and 2 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.
