10 of the most impressive superyachts owned by billionaires
From a sailing yacht owned by a russian billionaire industrialist to the luxury launch of the patek philippe ceo, here are the best billionaire-owned boats on the water….
Words: Jonathan Wells
There’s something about billionaires and big boats . Whether they’re superyachts or megayachts, men with money love to splash out on these sizeable sea-going giants. And that all began in 1954 — with the big dreams of Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis.
Onassis, keen to keep his luxury lifestyle afloat when at sea, bought Canadian anti-submarine frigate HMCS Stormont after World War II. He spent millions turning it into an opulent super yacht, named it after his daughter — and the Christina O kicked off a trend among tycoons. To this day, the world’s richest men remain locked in an arms race to build the biggest, fastest, most impressive superyacht of all. Here are 10 of our favourites…

YACHT are perpetual outsiders in art, music, tech, and maybe even time itself. This is both a bug and a feature. For example: YACHT started work on the Grammy-nominated album Chain Tripping in 2017. Their groundbreaking process, which involved custom machine learning models trained on YACHT’s previously-released music, is the subject of the 2024 documentary feature film The Computer Accent. But after touring the album around the world, performing at film festivals, and speaking at conferences, YACHT lost interest in Artificial Intelligence completely—just as its polarizing popularity reached fever pitch. This is always how it goes for YACHT, who average about seven years ahead of their time.

11 of the Most Impressive Yachts Owned by Billionaires
Writer: TJ Editorial Team
There is a certain aura that surrounds billionaires and their big boats. Often extravagant beyond means, the mega-yacht-owning tycoons seem to quite enjoy spending some days off by the water.
As time goes on, they’re only getting larger and more lavish and the race continues for the world’s richest men to build the next biggest, fastest and most impressive yacht on the block.
Here are our top 11 favourite megayachts owned (or previously owned) by billionaires.
Billionaire Boating
Table of contents, 11. jeff bezos - 'koru' ($500 million).
We’re kicking off this list with none other than Koru, Jeff Bezos’ 417-foot (127-metre) Oceanco sailing yacht that he received in April 2023.
It’s currently the world’s largest sailing yacht and includes a three-masted schooner, intricate gold paintwork, and a sculpture of his Fiancèe, Lauren Sanchez. The name selection ‘Koru’ is the Maori term for a coil or a loop which symbolises new life, growth and peace.
The yacht is so big that it is trailed by a 246-foot support vessel named “Abeona”. This vessel carries ATVs, supercars, seaplanes, motorcycles, smaller boats, you name it. Essentially anything Bezos and Sanchez could find handy on their European holidays.
The Amazon founder’s maritime maven also features a large pool, seating area on the bowsprit, multiple relaxing areas and open decks, a movie theatre, several lounges and several business areas.
Often seen soaking up the Spanish sun on the megayacht, Bezos sure does have quite the extravagant water vessel.
10. Bernard Arnault - 'Symphony' ($150 million)
Chairman and CEO of LVMH Moët Hennessy, the world’s largest luxury goods company, and wealthiest man in the world Bernard Arnault is the proud owner of this 331 foot (101-metre) megayacht.
It was built in the Netherlands, with an exterior designed by Tim Heywood and is a jaw dropping sight. At the time the yacht was delivered, in 2015, it was the largest Feadship yacht on open waters, consisting of a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure.
Unsurprisingly, the yacht can account for Arnault’s extensive guest list of 36 passengers, with the owner having their own private deck, accommodating a further 16 guests. The crew consists of 27 people to cater to the needs of the wealthy.
Merging luxury and sustainability, it was engineered for optimal performance, hitting maximum speeds of 21 knots. It’s also no surprise that the owner of the largest luxury goods company in the world has decked out the yacht with lavish designs, featuring a 6-metre glass-bottom swimming pool, an outdoor cinema and a sundeck jacuzzi.
9. Evan Spiegel - 'Bliss' ($200 million)
Delivered in 2021, Evan Spiegel, CEO and founder of Snap inc., became the youngest person in history to commission a $200 million superyacht.
Spiegel was in his early 20’s when he ordered the 327-foot long vessel, fit with three swimming pools, a spa and $20 million/year in running costs.
It can accommodate 14 guests and a crew of 20, who can relax in the lavish interior that is a blend of comfort and elegance, perfect for himself and his supermodel wife Miranda Kerr to enjoy some time off.
8. Larry Ellison - 'Musashi' ($160 million)
Oracle Co-founder Larry Ellison has owned the 288-foot Musashi yacht since it was crafted by Feadship in 2010.
It embodies luxury and elegance, drawing inspiration from Japanese aesthetics with panoramic glass elevators and a spa pool. Ellison can host up to 18 guests on the yacht, although there’s still plenty of room for the odd boat party.
The boat pays homage to the legendary samurai Miyamoto Musashi and is a symbol of Ellison’s vision and legacy.
7. James Packer - 'IJE' ($200 million)
James Packer’s remarkable 354-foot superyacht, “IJE”, represents the pinnacle of design and engineering excellence.
Built-in 2019, the name “IJE” is derived from his three children: Indigo, Jackson and Emmanuelle.
It features space for 22 guests and 29 crew, with an interior exuding luxury and sophistication, even including its own nightclub, perfect for the casino king.
6. Larry Page - 'Senses' ($45 million)
Originally delivered in 1999, “Senses” was purchased by Larry Page in 2011.
The vessel was designed by Martin Francis Designs, and Philippe Starck crafted its luxurious interior, accommodating 12 guests and 14 crew members.
It’s equipped with 4 high-speed tenders and a helicopter landing platform that epitomises expedition luxury.
Page purchased the superyacht in 2011 for $45 million, and after spending much of the covid lockdown enjoying the beautiful fiji islands on the boat with his family, he sold it to an unknown buyer.
5. Sultan of Oman - 'Al Said' ($600 million)
Known for its extravagance, the Al Said Yacht was built in 2006 and is among the world’s largest superyachts in terms of volume, accommodating 70 guests and a whopping 174 crew members.
It was built for the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, and is escorted by the Oman Navy when sailing. Talk about a convoy.
Lurssen Yachts, renowned for its craftsmanship, built Al Said, while Espen Oeino contributed to its iconic design, combining to make it one of the best looking vessels on the water.
Following 16 years of owning the yacht, the Sultan of Oman sold it to the Royal Family of Qatar for around $600 million, marking a significant chapter in its ownership history, further enhancing its prestige in the world of billionaire boating.
4. Bill Gates - 'Aqua' ($650 million)
Back in 2020, the world’s 7th richest man Bill Gates purchased the cutting-edge, eco-friendly super yacht named “Aqua” for $650 million.
The yacht, designed by Dutch firm Sinot Yacht Design, operates solely in liquid hydrogen, emitting only water as its by-product.
With a maximum speed of 17 knots and a range of 3,750 nautical miles (7000km), Aqua shows significant advancements in green technology. It showcases various design elements, including a circular staircase, spacious interiors, a gym, jacuzzi room, and a yoga studio.
The yacht can accommodate up to 14 guests and 31 crew members with luxurious cabins and quarters, which is less than most other vessels for this price range, increasing the boat’s exclusivity.
Despite the dazzling features, it’s not expected to set sail until later this year, after a 4 year wait for the tech mogul. Gates’ investment heavily reflects a growing trend among entrepreneurs towards environmentally conscious luxury travel.
3. Paul Allen - 'Octopus' ($285 million)
“Octopus” is a 414-foot megayacht previously owned by the late Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and is valued at over $285 million today.
A symbol of luxury, it is now in the hands of Swedish billionaire Roger Samuelsson, and features a helicopter hangar, a 10-person submarine, and multiple leisure and wellness facilities.
The vessel can accommodate 12 guests and a crew of 42, ensuring hospitality for party guests is of the highest standard.
2. Roman Abramovich - 'Eclipse' ($600 million)
Eclipse, the second-largest yacht in the world, is owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.
It features 2 helipads, 24 guest cabins, a disco hall, two swimming pools, hot tubs, and the best of all, an intruder missile detection system to let the vessels of the sea know who’s in charge.
Built in Germany in 2009, it cost roughly $500 million to build, however, it’s been estimated that the current value of the yacht is over $600 million.
At 533 feet long, it also has a mini-submarine capable of submerging 50 metres underwater if necessary. Further adding to the security of the boat, the master bedroom and the bridge of the yacht are fitted with armour plating and bulletproof windows. Think you’ve heard it all? There’s more.
The yacht also features an anti-paparazzi shield consisting of lasers sweeping the surrounding areas…
The owner of the yacht, Roman Abramovich is a Russian businessman, who owns private investments company Millhouse LLC and is also the owner of Chelsea Football Club. His current net worth is $17.4 billion.
1. Robert Kuok - 'History Supreme' ($4.8 billion)
The History Supreme, the most expensive yacht in the world made of solid gold, is reportedly owned by Malaysia’s richest man, Robert Kuok.
The 100 feet long yacht may not be as large as some of the other billionaire yachts, however it was built using 10,000 kilograms of solid gold and platinum, and designed by the renowned luxury designer from the UK, Stuart Hughes.
Gold and platinum cover the yacht from its base to dining rooms, decks, railings, staircase and anchors. Literally the entire thing is covered in lavish material.
Beyond this, the most extravagant aspect of the vessel is its master bedroom, as it contains a wall feature made from meteorite rock paired with a statue made from genuine Tyrannosaurus rex bones. Over-indulgence is simply not a word in the billionaire dictionary.
The master suite also contains a 68 kg 24-carat gold Aquavista Panoramic Wall Aquarium and a rare liquor bottle featuring 18.5 carat diamonds.
With many billionaires dumping their funds into extravagant yachts, it’s safe to say there will be many private holidays and parties thrown to counter the busy working period this summer.
Whether it be cruising across the Atlantic on their megayacht or flying intercontinental on their private jet , the world’s elite continue their passion for luxury and indulgence.

Breaking news, inside jeff bezos and lauren sanchez’s hot yacht summer with kim kardashian, leo & more.
If Jeff Bezos’ and Lauren Sánchez’ hot yacht summer were a movie, it would be a mashup of “Three Coins in the Fountain,” “Eat Pray Love” and “The Perfect Storm” — and the season’s not over yet.
The 60-year-old billionaire and his fiancée, 54, are sailing the Mediterranean again this summer on Bezos’ $485 million yacht Koru , which features a sultry figurehead on the prow that looks an awful lot like Sánchez.
They’ve cruised to Greece, Italy and Spain, with a pit stop Wednesday on the secluded island of Menorca in the Balearics, where they took refuge — along with some other expensive yachts — from a low-pressure storm called Dana.
Bezos and Sánchez have been accompanied on the 417-ft Koru by their support yacht, Abeona , which holds their water toys and a fleet of A-list guests who have included Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Leonardo DiCaprio and his 25-year-old Italian supermodel girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, and others.
“They’re the flavor of the month in the Med,” said a longtime entertainment exec just back from a month in the South of France.
“For a while it was the Russians, and way back in the day it was Ari [Onassis] and Maria [Callas] on the [yacht] Christina. But the Russians like Roman Abramovich are pretty much gone now. There’s always a new wave,” the exec said. “[Sánchez] seems tacky but I’ve heard she’s very nice and Bezos adores her. Is she ever going to look like Babe Paley? Not in this lifetime.”
The exec also pointed out that the Koru is more than 100 feet longer than Barry Diller’s yacht, which measures just over 300 feet — but not as big as David Geffen’s 453-foot vessel — saying billionaires often have “aquatic penis envy.”
The world’s second-richest couple channeled their inner Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck in Rome on Tuesday when they shared a passionate kiss in front of the famed Trevi Fountain, seemingly oblivious to the hordes of tourists.
Bezos, in a fitted golf shirt, navy pants and boating shoes, and Sánchez, in a red halter minidress and peep-toe heels, also joined the crowd in the time-honored tradition of tossing money into the fountain with their right hands.
Oh, to know what they wished for.
Later they held hands and walked down cobblestone streets to their dinner destination, Pierluigi, where photographers snapped them dining on white wine, salad and bread at a table containing a singular red rose.
The couple took a bit of a solemn detour on land on Thursday when they swung by the Vatican for a visit with 87-year-old Pope Francis.
“He reminded us not to take life too seriously, a simple yet powerful reminder to keep lightness in our hearts,” Sanchez wrote on social media.
Bezos and Sánchez began their summer in June island-hopping in Greece with a rare appearance by Bezos’ 19-year-old son Preston, who Bezos shares with his ex-wife Mackenzie Scott.
Kim Kardashian then joined them, zipping around the Med on jetskis . At one point Kardashian and an unidentified blonde rode her jetski as they took selfies.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum has been tight with Sánchez and Bezos for a couple of years, going on a double date in 2022 and attending a Beyoncé concert in 2023.
In September 2023, the trio had dinner together in New York City , joined by Nicky Hilton.
The “Kardashians” star made it clear that Sánchez is part of her inner circle when she celebrated her birthday in a Season 5 episode.
Meanwhile, Bezos and Sánchez were also spotted on their own in Greece on the island of Hydra, walking hand-in-hand on the seafront. They popped up next on Mykonos and from there it was on to Pserimos, famed for its beaches.
July saw them jet to Sun Valley, Idaho, for the town’s namesake financial conference attended by billionaires.
Last weekend, the pair pulled up on the island of Sardinia with Perry, Bloom, DiCaprio and Ceretti. The celebs came to shore on one of Bezos’ smaller boats for lunch at a high-end beach resort before heading back to Koru.
Bloom and Perry — who started their own month-long vacation in France — also vacationed with Bezos and Sánchez around this time last year. In August 2023, the foursome was spotted walking around Dubrovnik, Croatia, with Usher.
DiCaprio and Bezos have been “really close friends” for years, with a source previously telling Page Six they often vacation together and find “common ground in the fight against climate change and their work in environmental activism.”
Koru ranks as the planet’s thirty-second largest yacht and costs about $25 million to operate annually. The vessel can accommodate 18 guests and requires a crew of 40 sailors to manage its amenities.
Its three huge, 229-foot masts power it to 20 knots. It’s also the biggest billionaire’s yacht which can move under sail power alone.
Bezos and Sánchez recently relocated from Seattle to Indian Creek Island in Miami, where Bezos bought three mansions for about $237 million — surely a nice home if you’ve got to be on land.

The story of tech tycoon now feared to be on a sunken superyacht
- His luxury superyacht the Bayesian has sunk off the coast of Sicily this morning
He is the tech tycoon dubbed Britain's ' Bill Gates ' who is now feared to have been on board a sunken superyacht.
Mike Lynch, a former advisor to then-Prime Minister David Cameron and BBC board member, is believed to be among the passengers trapped on the luxury yacht which sank off the coast of Sicily this morning.
Divers are desperately searching the wreck of the Bayesian, which is on the sea bed 160ft beneath the water.
Tragically, the body of a man - thought to be the boat's chef - was found floating alongside the vessel earlier today.
Mr Lynch, 59, who is one of the UK's richest men and worth an estimated £852million, is believed to have owned the stricken boat.
Earlier this year he was cleared of all charges by an American jury in the high-profile fraud case relating to the sale of his software firm Autonomy to Hewlett-Packard (HP) in 2011.
It was a major victory for the tech guru - who is a fan of James Bond - after being dogged by legal problems since the disastrous $11billion (£8.3billion) sale 13 years ago.
Born in Ilford in Essex, Mr Lynch was defended in court in California by a lawyer who previously represented Jeffrey Epstein and Roman Polanski .
His rise to fame and fortune had been celebrated a major and pioneering British success story and the married father of two daughters was awarded an OBE in 2006 for services to enterprise.
That same year, he was appointed to the board of the BBC - and was later elected to then-prime minister David Cameron's council for science and technology in 2011.
He advised Mr Cameron on subjects including 'the opportunities and risks of the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and the government's role in the regulation of these technologies'.
Yet in March this year he found himself in a San Francisco courtroom to defend himself against fraud and conspiracy charges - and ultimately won his freedom.
The 59-year-old tycoon had spent much of the previous year living under house arrest with an electronic tag attached to his ankle.
Fighting his corner will be a legal team led by Reid Weingarten, described as one of the US legal system's most successful white-collar defenders.
Mr Lynch had potentially faced up to 20 years in a US prison if found guilty of 16 counts of conspiracy, and securities and wire fraud, which he denied.
The charges related to a business deal that was hailed at the time as his crowning glory – the £8.6billion sale of his software and data company Autonomy to US computer giant Hewlett-Packard in 2011.
Mr Lynch personally made more than £500million from the deal, only for HP to later wrote down three-quarters of the value of Autonomy only a year after buying it.
The US company fired Mr Lynch while accusing accusing him and other executives of having grossly inflated its size and profits during the sale.
He had previously lost a 2019 civil fraud case based on similar allegations that HP – now Hewlett Packard Enterprises (HPE) – brought in the UK, with London's High Court ruling in 2020 that HPE had 'substantially won' its case.
His separate three-year battle to avoid being extradited to face criminal charges culminated in Lynch going to the High Court to argue that American prosecutors were guilty of legal overreach which threatened UK sovereignty and its citizens.
His plea was rejected and in May last year he was flown to California, accompanied by the U.S. Marshals Service, still protesting his innocence.
And on June 6 this year he was acquitted of fraud by a jury in San Francisco, while former Autonomy finance executive Stephen Chamberlain, who faced the same charges, was also acquitted on all counts.
In his first interview after the charges were rejected, Mr Lynch told how he had feared he would die in prison - saying that medical issues meant he felt it would have been 'difficult to survive' time behind bars.
He told the Times last month: 'I’d had to say goodbye to everything and everyone, because I didn’t know if I’d ever be coming back,’ he added.
‘If this had gone the wrong way, it would have been the end of my life as I have known it in any sense.'
The luxury sailboat which sank today had been docked off the coast of Porticello, near Palermo, when a tornado hit the area just before 5am - wrecking the boat and causing it to rapidly disappear beneath the waves.
Mr Lynch's wife Angela Bacares was among the fifteen people who were rescued from the 180ft yacht, which had been carrying ten crew members, the owner and 11 guests.
The vessel was still at anchor near the port when the tornado struck, witnesses told Italian news agency ANSA.
With the anchor still down, the storm broke the mast, causing the vessel to lose its balance and capsize, according to reports.
The Italian Coastguard said in a statement that a nearby boat offered assistance to people before emergency services arrived.
The Sir Robert BP, a Dutch sailing ship which had been anchored by the Bayesian, is believed to have rescued the 15 survivors.
Karsten Borner, the captain of the boat, has described how his vessel was battered by strong gusts, with his team working to stabilise it and manoeuvre it to avoid hitting the Bayesian nearby.
'We managed to keep the ship in position, and after the storm was over, we noticed that the ship behind us was gone,' he said.
Once the storm subsided, Borner said he and his first mate noticed a flare in the water, and made their way towards it.
There they found the lifeboat with those who had escaped inside, according the one-year-old baby.
Its 35-year-old mother told Italian media: 'For two seconds I lost my baby in the sea, then I immediately hugged her again amid the fury of the waves.'
'I held her afloat with all my strength, my arms stretched upwards to keep her from drowning,' she added. 'It was all dark. In the water I couldn't keep my eyes open. I screamed for help but all I could hear around me was the screams of others.'
Incredibly, a group of 15 of the passengers managed to inflate a lifeboat and clamber aboard, before being rescued by a nearby vessel.
The mother, who is in hospital with her baby where she received treatment for a minor shoulder injury, described the ordeal as 'terrible', detailing how 'in a few minutes the boat was hit by a very strong wind and sank shortly after.'

The life of a Billionaire is an elaborate dream come true for only 10 percent of the people on the planet. To give you an idea of their over the top lifestyles, one of the wealthiest men in the oil-rich country, United Arab Emirates purchased an island and had his name carved on his land. A rich man in India bought a $1 billion residential building called the Antilia with three helipads on the top of the property, a theater to sit 50 people, and nine elevators. With this kind of money, a rich man can approach almost any women he wants and not get rejected.
As we have seen with some billionaires, not all are good looking or have the muscles to show for, but like their fancy residential castles, most of them want the most beautiful women in the world.
For your entertainment, there are even some men on this list that are old enough to be the father of their wives. All this and more when we check out the 15 most gorgeous wives of billionaires.
The first lady on the list is the strikingly exotic Belgian model Jade Foret. Before she got married to Arnaud Lagardere , she landed a modeling contract at the age of 12, and her career went uphill after appearing in a Levis poster on top of a 33 story building called Madou Plaza Tower in Belgium. Arnaud is the CEO of MMB, a multi-billion dollar media company. One of his most lucrative projects was acquiring Warner Books, which was once owned by Time Warner Bros. in 2006.
When they first met, Arnaud would publicly tell the media how much he adored her. The two got caught in a whirlwind of controversy when a personal interview of the two filmed getting too close during a photo shoot with “La Soir Magazine" ended up on YouTube. The French media believed it was a publicity stunt because they only knew each other for six months.
Janet Jackson was and still is the women that most men wish they had a chance to date. She may be soft spoken but has had her share of sexy moments. When she disappeared six years ago, it wasn’t because she was grieving her late brother Michael Jackson or that she became uninspired to make new music. If you haven’t heard by now, Janet Jackson is married to a handsome Billionaire businessman by the name of Wissam Al Mana . He is the executive director of a successful conglomerate in Qatar that operates Nissan, Infiniti, and National Car Rental. Additionally, Wissam is also a stakeholder of Qatar’s Saks Fifth Avenue. Much like many men around the world, he calls Janet Jackson his “dream woman.” They travel to exotic places for a bit of privacy from the media in North America and his family back home in Qatar. To all of the men reading that wish they had a chance with Janet Jackson, you might want to let go of that fantasy because Wissam made his dream come true.
The gorgeous Australian model Kristy Hinze is married to the founder of Netscape. In addition to her long legs walking the runway, she is an actress that landed a modeling gig posing in sexy clothing in Victoria's Secret catalogs.
Despite the massive amount of wealth the two share, people are only human, and arguments are bound to happen. Kristy was caught in between an explosive argument in St. Bart’s last spring with her husband and Ken Reader, the owner of Comanche who is one of the top wealthy sailors in the world. The reason for the fight is unknown, but it became so bad that Kristy decided to leave the island without her husband.
Last summer they listed their $137 million mansion in Palm Beach for sale, built in the 1930s. The house has a total of two elevators, six bedrooms and a living room that is 15 meters long.
Another top model that made the list is Katsia Zingarevich. She was given a business card by a modeling agent in a café in Russia when she was a little girl, and although she was uninterested in pursuing a modeling career, her mother was the person that convinced her that it would be worthwhile, and it was. When she was single and ready to mingle in 2009, Katsia dated Emile Mpenza, who was a soccer player at that time for Plymouth Argyle in England. The two had a stormy relationship, and it quickly ended that year. Right before she met her husband Anton in 2010, she became a Victoria’s Secret Angel and was clearly finding success in her career. Her husband Anton Zingarevich was an owner of the association football club called the Reading F.C. and had a net worth of close to $5 billion before he left the club. Despite being married to the billionaire, she is still with Ford Models in New York and Paris.
If there were one wish a single 81-year-old man would ask for, it is likely that he would want a young, and beautiful wife. Phillip Ruffin is a billion dollar owner of casinos, oil production companies, real estate and greyhound race tracks in Las Vegas. He is worth $2.4 billion, and the lucky man is married to a model and actress from the Ukraine named Oleksandra Nikolayenko. She is no simpleton, Oleksandra studied law and participates in charitable projects to give back to her community. She not only has brains and good looks. Although she is from the Ukraine, she speaks, English, Russian and her native language. Oleksandra also enjoyed being in pageants like the Miss Ukraine Universe and Miss Universe in 2004.
Instead of kicking her feet up and retiring from her career, she is a Chairman Director of the Miss Ukraine Universe franchise.
Chelsea Clinton isn’t the only well off friend of Ivanka Trump that we know. Dasha Zhukova is with Roman Abramovich who is one of the richest men in Russia with a net worth of $8.5 billion according to Forbes. The two kept their marriage a secret for the first six years of harmonious matrimony.
In the winter of 2014, The Wall Street Journal published an article stating they “Met in 2005 and were married a few years later.”
Dasha is a magazine editor for Garage and attended Donald Trump’s inauguration events after being invited by Ivanka.
Dasha’s husband is an owner of Evraz which is a steel making company in London, as well as being the owner of the Chelsea soccer team.
In 2014 Dasha was also caught in a scandal after being in a photo shoot which involved sitting on a black woman that was positioned as a chair for a Russian fashion magazine called Buro 24/7.
Both Dasha and the publication were considered racists, but she later published a statement stating “This photograph, which has been published completely out of context, is of an art work intended specifically as a commentary on gender and racial politics.”
Do you remember the cute Japanese model in 2 Fast 2 Furious? Well, her name is Devon Aoki , and although she is a successful model that acted in the hit movies Sin City and Mutant Chronicles when a Billionaire named James Bailey pursued her, she couldn’t resist. James Bailey is a hedge fund billionaire that chooses to work as a business analyst for TA Associates. Here are a few interesting facts about Devon Aoki:
She had a cameo in the previous Black Eyed Peas member, Fergie’s M.I.L.K. music video with Kim Kardashian , Alessandra Ambrosio , R&B singer Ciara , and Chrissy Teigen .
Despite the runway industry standard that models need to be at least 5’9, Aoki is only 5’6 in height. While she lives in billionaire lifestyle, she hit the runway for a Moschino show in Los Angeles in 2016.
When she was on the set for the 2 Fast 2 Furious movie, she did not know how to drive and had no choice but to learn while filming the hit sequel.
Real estate mogul Donald Trump , but the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree when it comes to the man she married. Much like her father, Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner is a billionaire real estate investor, the publisher of the New York Observer and is the senior advisor on Donald’s team.
Ivanka might be teased in the U.S. because of her father, but in Japan, she has become a big hit because they believe she has it all. Owning a successful business, a wealthy husband and a father that became a president. While we are familiar with seeing her in conservative clothing, in 2006, she modeled in a few revealing outfits for Stuff magazine. After she had met Jared, she walked away from the socialite lifestyle and her modeling career.
Prior to getting hitched to Jared, she dated Lance Armstrong and James “Bingo” Gubelmann who is the guitarist for the group Maroon 5 .
More recently, after her father banned the entry of foreign nationals from some countries for up to 90 days, Ivanka posted a fancy photo of herself and Jared in an expensive gown. She is now getting flack from social media users for being insensitive to the immigration controversy because of her father's presidential decision.
Thirty-eight-year-old Fabiana Flosi is married to an 86 year old billionaire named Bernie Ecclestone. Bernie owns a group of companies that include the FIA Formula One World Championship. He worked for the company for 40 years and eventually acquired rights to the organization. One of the couples most expensive purchases is a £24 million chalet in Gstaad, Switzerland.
Their daughter Tamara owns a mansion in London that has 57 rooms, and she mentioned that she only occupies four of the rooms in her house.
While this is no laughing matter, in August 2016 Fabiana’s mother was kidnapped. The police were hunting down a man that threatened to murder her mother after sending Fabiana a gruesome video in the mail of a woman beheaded. The kidnappers requested eight days for Fabiana and her billionaire husband to send £28million in ransom. In less than two weeks, the police found Fabiana’s mother tied up in a house in Cotia, Brazil.
Kirsty Bertarelli is happily married to Ernesto Bertarelli who in 2014, had his family ranked as the 5 th wealthiest in the UK based on the Sunday Times Rich List. He was born into wealth because his grandfather passed down a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland called Serono in 1996.
Between 1996 to 2006, Serono went from an $809 million business to $2.8 billion. Although his business dealings were lucrative, Ernesto eventually sold the company in 2006.
Kristy is no commoner, her family is the owner of a manufacturing company of ceramic products, and when she was 17 years old, she became Miss UK. She wrote a hit song called “Black Coffee” for the UK pop group named All Saints that was close to being as popular as the Spice Girls. Kristy knows how to have fun and is a frequent socialite at fashion shows and parties. Her and Ernesto live in multiple countries and have houses in Switzerland, London, and Spain.
Sindika Dokolo is a half Danish, and Congolese man who’s father is a millionaire. If you Google him and his wife Isabel dos Santos, they have partied with Kim Kardashian, Bela Hadid, and Comedian Chris Tucker to name a few.
Nicki Minaj was under the spotlight in 2015 after she accepted a significant amount of money to perform for Isabel dos Santos whose father is an Angolan dictator named President Jose Eduardo dos Santos. In an Instagram photo, Nicki Minaj did not hide her music business affiliation despite the backlash and posted "She's just the 8th richest woman in the world. At least that's what I was told by someone before we took this photo. Girl power. This motivates me so much!"
Nonetheless, Isabel is the second richest African woman with a net worth of $3 billion US dollars, and although her husband is a billionaire through their marriage, she is one smart lady. She opened a trucking business in the early 2000s, a club on Luanda Island called Miami Beach Club and made several investments in high net worth companies in Portugal.
4. Elaine Andriejanssen and Eduardo Saverin
The beautiful Elaine Andriejanssen is married to Eduardo Saverin , who is a previous employee of Facebook. He is the 188 th billionaire in the world, the 10 th richest Latin American billionaire and is one of the youngest men on the list. In 2015 he owned up to 53 million shares of the social media empire Facebook which is 0.4% of all the outstanding shares. Additionally, Eduardo also invested in the startup companies called Jumio and Qwiki.
Elaine Andriejanssen is from Indonesia and used to work as a Quantitative Research Analyst for Franklin Templeton Investments. Unlike a few of the women on the list, she studied Economics and was a successful corporate employee. While Eduardo has not confirmed details of the wedding, sources state John Legend sang at their matrimonial event. It is unknown whether the event took place in Bali or the French Riviera. While critics thought he was going to marry Miss Singapore Universe 2009 Rachel Kum, he had a change of heart and chose Elaine.
Aleksandra Melnichenko was a part of a pop group in the 1990s when she was 17 years old in Serbia called Models. The group managed to complete several albums during the five-year term of their music group. After the team parted she, in fact, became a fashion model that posed for advertising campaigns and landed television gigs in Barcelona and Milan.
Her husband paid Jennifer Lopez $2 million to perform at Aleksandra’s 30 th birthday, and during their wedding, the sultry Christina Aguilera and Whitney Houston performed.
The two vacate on a £330 million super-sized yacht named the mammoth vessel which just so happens to be one of the biggest ships on the planet.
Aleksandra may gorgeous, but she also has some edge to her. Aleksandra summoned the previous owners of her $12.2 million luxury apartment in Central Park to court when she found defects throughout her home after purchasing the property.
She and her husband also sued an art dealer in New York after buying a £423,000 Claude Monet sculpture that was 4 feet smaller in height than what they expected it to be.
If you watched the HBO hit show Girls, you might remember seeing Allison Williams as the character Marnie Michaels. Her father is the NBC News chief anchor Brian Douglas Williams , and her career has also seen her work as a voice actress for The Simpsons.
Allison is married to one of the co-founders of the College Humour website named Ricky Van Veen . To add to his resume, Ricky is a principal owner of Connected Ventures that developed Vimeo and is the CEO of a company called Notional that owns the television rights to the Food Network’s show Chopped. One might think that with the help of her father in the entertainment business and a billionaire husband, she would kick her feet up and relax. To the contrary, she is currently funding medical research for a cure to end cancer.
Another tech mogul I wanted to share is Sean Parker who is the co-founder of Napster (a company he started at 19 years old) and was the first president of Facebook. He may not be Warren Buffet , but Forbes added him as the 722 nd billionaire in the world.
While there is not a lot of information on Alexandra, she is an under the radar songwriter and singer. Sean Parker isn’t ashamed of Alexandra because she is right by his side when they party with New York socialite Alexa Winner and rapper Snoop Dogg . For Halloween in 2011, she and Sean dressed up as Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears . According to the New York Post in 2010, Kim Kardashian tried flirting with Sean at a party while Alexandra was there by his side as a date. Despite other women trying to hit on him, it is evident that he knows he has a good thing because, on Facebook, Alexandra’s photo album is full of the two cuddling as a happy couple.
