Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 17 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 21 knots with a range of up to 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Onboard This is It has a range of toys and accessories to keep you and your guests entertained on the water throughout your stay. Principle among these are Jobe towable toys offering fun and adventure. Another excellent feature are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. In addition there are two F5S SEABOBs, that allow you to skim along the surface or steer under the crystal water and see a variety of aquatic sea life. If that isn't enough This is It also features wakeboards, kayaks and kneeboards. This is It features two tenders, but leading the pack is a 15m/49'3" Technohull Chase Tender to transport you in style.

This is It is available upon request for charter this winter. She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the Mediterranean.

New images of Tecnomar's radical 43m catamaran This Is It released

New interior imagery of This Is It has been revealed by her central agency for charter, IYC . Built under Tecnomar , a brand of The Italian Sea Group (TISG), the 43.5-metre motor yacht debuted at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023 alongside TISG catamaran the Art Explorer .

The owner is Tasos Papanastasiou, a "self-made Cypriot" and founder of XM – one of the world’s largest financial forex platforms. Michel Chryssicopoulos, global managing partner at IYC , was the broker who introduced the client.

This Is It 's sculptural exterior is designed to "evoke fantastic sea creatures", with a hull optimised to enhance hydrodynamic efficiency for reduced fuel consumption. IMO Tier III-compliant, she will also be equipped with innovative exhaust gas treatment technology (SCR - Selective Catalytic Reduction) to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions. Naval architecture is owed to Lateral Naval Architects .

Enveloped by more than 600 square meters of glass windows, the catamaran's composition created a significant challenge in terms of weight control. According to TISG, the complex curved shape of the aluminium superstructure pushed the performance of the material to its limits. "The realisation of this extraordinary project challenges the 'conventional' perceptions, driving us to completely recreate the boundaries of aesthetic parameters," said founder and CEO of TISG Giovanni Costantino.

Accommodation is for 12 guests across six ensuite cabins. Brought to life with a large skylight and with a head height of 3.3 metres, the spacious owner's area will evoke the feeling of a "seaside villa" with its panoramic terrace. There is further accommodation for a crew of 12.

Interiors are owed to Mattia Piro and Gian Marco Campanino of The Italian Sea Group. The spaces are styled in futuristic shades of champagne and platinum-grey with smooth finishes such as Alcantara suede, high-quality leather and bronze, platinum, and gold metallic surfaces.

“Naturally, what applies to external lines also applies to interior styling,” said Gian Marco Campanino. “Smooth, cocooning and curvilinear are perfect words to describe the interior of the yacht, plus a touch of pure luxury due to the use of sophisticated and precious materials."

The main lounge features floor-to-ceiling doors that, when fully opened, connect with the exterior lounge to create a holistic convivial area complete with a bar, game area, swimming pool and formal dining space. There is also a galley with polarised glass for events and show cooking.

The upper deck hosts a spa, fitted with a dedicated treatment area, sauna and sensorial shower. Adjacent to the spa is the yacht's "playroom", a convertible cabin that can be used to entertain children or as an additional guest room, according to the shipyard.

This Is It has a maximum speed of 19 knots and a range of 3,500 nautical miles when pared back to 10 knots.

She will be the largest motor catamaran available for charter from April 2024.

If you’re wondering what a catamaran of the future might look like, this is it . The Italian Sea Group ’s Tecnomar brand just unveiled a radical new multihull called This Is It that looks as if it’s been plucked straight from the year 2050.

With an interior volume of approximately 750 GT, the vessel can accommodate up to 14 guests across six generous staterooms. The expansive owner’s suite is distinguished by a large skylight, a dedicated terrace, and a two-story vertical garden, no less.

Spread across four decks, the living quarters pair a calming palette of beige and gray tones with wood and leather finishes. The interior is outfitted with nearly 6,500 square feet of glass windows, too, which create a light and airy atmosphere while providing prime views. Other highlights include a luxe massage room and a mirrored galley designed for events and show cooking.

TISG says the design of the exterior is reminiscent of a luxury villa with sizable balconies and relaxation areas. The aft deck is a clear standout, with a striking swimming pool, lounge, and sunbathing spot.

This Is It was commissioned in 2020, with construction work on the vessel kicking off in 2021. The catamaran will premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show later this month. The event will take place from September 27 to 30 if you wish to see the cat IRL.

1st WINGSAIL series production yacht in the world!

The OceanWings32 - by Ayro© - was initially developed for Team Oracle, for the America’s Cup 2010 in Valencia. Over years, it has further been developed and automated by VPLP and was installed on Energy Observer in 2019. Two years of field feedback have allowed the Ayro team to fine tune the algorithm commanding the wingsail. The ZEN50 is the first series production leisure craft to be equipped with this fully automated wingsail. It is controlled at the touch of a finger on screens, is automatically adjusted and has several safety modes and features. The two parts of the wingsail can be hoisted and lowered independently and with the simple touch of a button. The wingsail OceanWings32 is the ideal complement for the solar roof for those wishing to cruise long distances off-shore with zero-emissions.

Greatest ratio SOLAR POWER / weight on the market

At 17 tonnes lightweight and 18,000 W of peak solar power, the ratio of the ZEN50 is at over 1 kW per displaced tonne of water or beyond 1:1 which is far beyond any other blue water CE Cat A yacht in this size range. Lots of solar power for little water to displace is the strong and healthy foundation the energy self-sufficient ZEN50 is built upon.

Performance CARBON sandwich hulls

The hulls of the ZEN50 have been designed from a blank screen for ultimate efficiency - understand minimum drag or minimal energy consumption for a range of speeds from 6 to 10 knots. Their shape is aggressive, sharp and slender. Their reverse bows cut through water like a sword cuts through butter and their curvature is reminiscent of graceful dolphin bodies. These hulls are undoubtedly of the performance type and are built with the best available composites: Carbon fibre and Corecell™. The combination of high strength, low weight and performance design allow the ZEN50 to reach speeds of up to 14 knots.

INFINITE range at high CONTINUOUS speeds

With maximized solar and wind power and minimized energy consumption… the ZEN50 can sail continuously at speeds varying between 6 and 10 knots. Thorough simulations in various sea states and weather system have consistently shown the ZEN50 will be able to achieve performance catamaran speeds continuously without using a genset. With the ZEN50, the world is your oyster and the wildest destinations are within your reach with this self-reliant vessel!

True ZERO-EMISSION operation

The first ZEN50 unit, whose construction started in March 2023, will not be equipped with a genset at all and will not have any fossil fuels onboard. The ZEN50 energy system with its very large capacity 160 kWh battery bank, has been designed to function for days in complete safety with minimal solar energy harvest and no wind. It is perfectly safe with no backup genset and operates 24/7 without any polluting emissions.

NO FUEL , no costs

Naturally, requiring no fuel to operate day in day out is great news for the environment, it is also fantastic news when sailing into remote areas where fuel bunkering might be near impossible or where the fuel quality might be an issue. Finally, it also makes a massive difference in this yacht’s costs of operation. Highest SAFETY & reliability

At ZEN Yachts, we have made some design choices to attain energy self-reliance with the ZEN50 that reduces the habitable volume in the hulls, similar to performance catamarans. Where we have not and will never compromise is on safety. Our main voltage system is 48V making it perfectly safe to work on. The level of redundancy of the batteries and solar panels is 10! The main electrical architecture is split in 2 so that should anything happen on 1 hull, the entire vessel can still operate normally. There are 2 independent helm stations and the ZEN50 is packed with special safety features, nonsubmersible compartments and we can even offer an in-depth practical course on safety equipment usage and management. Sailing with the ZEN50 is not only exhilarating and clean, it is ultra safe!

Hydrodynamic efficiency, reduction in fuel consumption and emissions

The hull lines are optimized to enhance hydrodynamic efficiency, leading to a significant reduction in fuel consumption and, therefore, emissions. In compliance with IMO Tier III requirements, the yacht is equipped with innovative exhaust gas treatment technology (SCR – Selective Catalytic Reduction) to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.

Complejo Catamarán, una obra cumbre en San Juan

Complejo catamarán es la apuesta más ambiciosa en los 50 años de trayectoria de la firma. siete torres a construir en un terreno de dos hectáreas con 7.000 m2 de parque..

Goldstein Construcciones SRL es una empresa que lleva 50 años construyendo y comercializando sus propios edificios en Capital y alrededores de San Juan. Y ahora muestra su proyecto más ambicioso.

Iván, David y Julián Goldstein continúan la obra de Roberto, su padre, quien fundó la empresa hace 50 años y la condujo hasta el año pasado. Iván se encarga de la contabilidad y la comercialización mientras que David y Julián de la arquitectura, el diseño y la construcción. La familia siempre se decantó por la obra privada y fue así como en su extensa carrera en el rubro construyeron desde casas particulares hasta edificios residenciales. Sin embargo, por primera vez los Goldstein dan un gran salto y presentan su última creación: “Complejo Catamarán: Residencias en altura”, un proyecto de siete torres en un terreno de dos hectáreas en el corazón de la ciudad de San Juan, rodeadas de un inmenso parque de 7.000 metros cuadrados con vistas inmejorables.

Desde sus oficinas céntricas en la ciudad de San Juan los empresarios detallan a Área Tres que se trata de un complejo también denominado Catamarán, como los últimos grandes proyectos de edificación de la familia, sólo que en esta ocasión nada tiene que ver con los anteriores desafíos desde el punto de vista arquitectónico. Aseguran que “Complejo Catamarán: Residencias en altura” marcará un antes y un después en materia de construcción de viviendas en la vecina provincia.

David explica que el nuevo Catamarán se alzará al Oeste de la Capital, en el límite interno de la Avenida de Circunvalación, entre las avenidas Córdoba e Ignacio de la Roza y calle Paula Albarracín.

“Residencias en altura” será un complejo de torres con departamentos de lujo, un  parque gigantesco, una piscina olímpica, puestos deportivos, estacionamiento soterrado, locales comerciales y las mejores vistas a los cuatro vientos, afirman los desarrolladores.

El arquitecto explica que él y Julián estudiaron la carrera en Córdoba, por lo que este tipo de emprendimientos no es desconocido para ellos, quienes han seguido de cerca la evolución de aquella provincia y conocen complejos como el que ellos piensan edificar en San Juan, el primero de su clase. En Córdoba, afirman, estos proyectos son parte del paisaje desde hace ya bastante tiempo y gozan de gran aceptación en los inversores.

El terreno donde se desarrollará el proyecto cuenta con dos hectáreas, en las cuales se edificarán siete torres que estarán situadas en un parque de 7.000 metros cuadrados. Las torres tendrán ocho pisos y la última está planteada para que tenga un mínimo de doce pisos y un máximo sin limitaciones. Los Goldstein quieren que esa séptima y última torre sea el edificio más alto de la ciudad.

Según los cálculos, el complejo poseerá mínimamente 250 departamentos de lujo, que van el menor desde los  56 metros cuadrados (m2) con dos dormitorios y un baño, al mayor con casi 170 m2, y que tendrá tres dormitorios, tres baños y uno de los dormitorios lleva su baño en suite y su vestidor.

Julián destaca que en cualquiera de los casos, los departamentos están planteados a los cuatro vientos, esto significa que las cuatro caras de los edificios abren hacia el exterior. Entonces todos los ambientes, cocina, estar, comedor, dormitorio principal, secundario, el tercer dormitorio si es el caso, abren hacia un parque o hacia una calle. Si a esto se le suma que los departamentos tienen profusión de ventanas vidriadas del piso al techo, la luz y las vistas son inmejorables.

En la búsqueda de integrar esta especie de mini ciudad a la Capital y darle más valor urbano a la zona, los Goldstein plantean locales comerciales en las plantas bajas de cada torre, con entrada y salida hacia el exterior. Estos locales tendrán sus propias dársenas de estacionamiento público, plazas y paseos para que la gente concurra a comprar o a pasar el tiempo sin tener que vivir necesariamente en el complejo.

Y para quienes habiten las “Residencias en altura”, no tendrán que desplazarse hacia otra zona de la ciudad si necesitan ir a la farmacia, tomar un café o hacer las compras, ya que los locales comerciales están pensados para albergar todos los rubros necesarios. Desde los frentes comerciales hasta el pie de calle, hay unos 15 metros de espacio para los estacionamientos, los paseos y las plazas.

El lenguaje arquitectónico, según explican, es de una arquitectura muy moderna. Es por eso que en las siete entradas peatonales del complejo se alzarán, por ejemplo, jardines verticales o muros verdes.  Las amenities, cubiertas y al descubierto, estarán situadas en terrazas a nivel de tercer piso, que junto con las torres harán una gran parte del cerramiento integral del complejo.

Según explican los Goldstein, estas “Residencias en altura” comenzarán a construirse por torre y cada torre será una etapa. En agosto o septiembre a más tardar arrancan con la primera. La empresa está comercializando la primera etapa desde Semana Santa y ya tiene el 25% de las unidades vendidas. Y como es habitual en la compañía, cuando lleguen al 80% de la venta realizada, comenzarán con la edificación de este, el primer edificio en su clase en todo San Juan.

Las residencias en altura que proyecto Goldstein Construcciones en San Juan van desde los 56 a los casi 180 metros cuadrados, dependiendo de cuál sea el departamento. Sin embargo, sus creadores explican que todos sin excepción poseen terminaciones de primera calidad, son muy amplios y luminosos, las cocinas cuentan con iluminación natural, los dormitorios tienen ventilación natural, todos tienen balcones con terrazas e incluso los más grandes cuentan hasta con su propio parrillero.

Un par de características especiales se las darán las puertas ventanas corredizas vidriadas hasta el fondo de viga, los antepechos de 60 centímetros y los porcelanatos de 1,20 metros por 60 centímetros, este último detalle es un elemento que hace visualmente más amplia aún cada estancia. En cuanto a las cocheras, estarán en un estacionamiento soterrado y corresponderán dos espacios por cada departamento.

Los hermanos Goldstein explican que luego del cambio de gobierno a nivel nacional, desde la empresa se animaron a realizar un proyecto de una duración de entre doce y catorce años como lo será el Complejo Catamarán. Cada etapa, que es una torre, tienen pensado construirla en tres años, y cuando la tengan prácticamente comercializada comenzarán a construir la siguiente. Por ejemplo, tendrán una torre en una etapa en terminaciones finas, otra en gruesas y la otra recién comenzando, entonces habrá alrededor de dos a tres años en cada etapa para llegar a venderlas.

Con respecto de la inversión en el complejo, dice Iván que a largo plazo depende del valor del dólar. Y si la inflación, como dicen desde el Banco Central, va a estar en un 5% anual para el 2019 y se mantiene estable dentro de un parámetro de un dígito, el proyecto demandará una inversión de entre 70 y 100 millones de dólares.

Según los Goldstein, la idea en general es que se supone que el país va a progresar, bajará la inflación, mejorará la distribución de las riquezas y habrá más accesibilidad a los créditos con UVAs y los que están sacando los bancos privados y el Nación.

La constructora ya acordó con los bancos HSBC, Santander Río, Citi y Banco Francés, para ver si se pueden adaptar esos créditos de nivel nacional al proyecto porque antes por la ley de propiedad horizontal no se podía hipotecar el terreno. En cambio ahora se podría hacer a través de un contrato que se deja en el banco, y directamente el banco le presta el dinero a la empresa, y así cada cliente pagará durante veinte a treinta años por su casa.

El resto de los departamentos, tal como operan en la actualidad, son comercializados a través de venta propia, personalizada. Y Goldstein es una empresa que va sobre seguro, es decir que comienzan a construir cuando tengan  vendido el 80% del edificio. Y el resto del edificio, saben que en unos meses terminará por ser adquirido.

Entonces según los cálculos de la empresa, la financiación la harán en tres años aunque ahora están analizando si largan una financiación a seis años, sin olvidar los créditos con UVAs. Todo dependerá obviamente de la inflación.

Goldstein ajusta por la tabla de la Cámara Argentina de la Construcción, una fórmula polinómica de 228 productos, como hacen en Buenos Aires el 90% de los fideicomisos inmobiliarios, y siempre van debajo del IPC.

En el valor del metro cuadrado de construcción, los sanjuaninos están por debajo de Mendoza en un 30% a un 40%, mientras que con respecto a Buenos Aires, por ejemplo a una zona como Puerto Madero, estarán un 80% por debajo.

Igualmente desde Goldstein insisten en que el valor de los departamentos del complejo dependerá mucho de la cotización del dólar. Explica Iván que históricamente la empresa vende entre 1600 y 1800 dólares el metro cuadrado; y esta sería la cifra aproximada para los departamentos de este emprendimiento.

The Italian Sea Group have announced the launch of their brand-new catamaran THIS IS IT under the Tecnomar brand. This unique and exceptional 43.5 m (142’7″) superyacht will make her debut at the Monaco Yacht Show later this month and is characterised by her unique and bold silhouette.

The exterior is sinuous and soft and features 600sqm of glass, challenging the perception of what is possible using conventional construction processes. This amount of glass needed careful weight management and the complex profile pushed the limits the aluminium’s capabilities.  Ultimately the optimised shape enhances the hydrodynamic efficiency, leading to a significant reduction in fuel consumption and, therefore, emissions.

The interior mirrors the futuristic exterior and presents with a unique galley featuring polarised glass enabling a subtle connection with the guest areas. Using sophisticated materials including leather and Alcantara, oak and teak plus grey marble with bronze, titanium and carbon creates a stunning and elegant contrast throughout the spaces.

Accommodation is across six suites with The spacious owner’s stateroom featuring a skylight with an 3.3m skylight, superb panoramic terrace and a unique vertical garden spanning two deck and giving the feeling of being in a seaside villa.

Il creator digitale che ha lanciato il contest sul catamarano: "Se sai qualcosa in più su questo misterioso edificio scrivicelo nei commenti”

Sulla costa del Comune di Fiumicino c’è una costruzione particolarissima a forma di catamarano. Una casa-nave costruita negli anni Trenta e praticamente sconosciuta alla maggioranza delle persone, anche residenti, poiché non è molto visibile. Anzi, quasi per nulla visibile potremmo dire, a meno che non ci si trovi nella spiaggia antistante questa costruzione.

Il creator digitale che ha lanciato il contest sul catamarano: “Se sai qualcosa in più su questo misterioso edificio scrivicelo nei commenti”

L’edificio è stata segnalato al creator digitale Fede Romanello , molto attivo sui social. Scatenata la sua curiosità è partito, insieme all’amico Manuele Mariotti , per andarla a scoprire.

Dopo essersi recato sul posto il creator digitale ha lanciato un contest tramite le sue pagine social, quella di Instagram che conta oltre 30mila follower, e quella di Tik Tok, che ne conta circa 16 mila. Il post, dal titolo Il catamarano abbandonato , va alla grandissima. Migliaia di like e centinaia di commenti per rispondere alla richiesta del creator . “ Appena abbiamo visto su Google Maps quello che sembrava un catamarano abbandonato poco fuori Roma io e @themariotti siamo partiti per andare a vederlo! ”, spiega.

“ Il catamarano è una costruzione in cemento armato, somigliante in tutto come forma a un catamarano vero. Dalle ricerche che abbiamo fatto siamo riusciti a trovare poche informazioni: viene chiamato Romitorio Giovanni Torlonia, ed è stato edificato nel 1937 proprio per il principe Torlonia, a cui si possono ricondurre altri edifici dalle particolari forme architettoniche. Versa in stato di totale abbandono ma resta comunque molto interessante da visitare per la sua forma così particolare. Il catamarano si trova tra la spiaggia di Focene e l’aeroporto di Fiumicino. I cancelli per arrivarci sono tutti aperti e i sentieri ben percorribili, ma aiutati col gps per orientarti. Per la posizione esatta cerca Romitorio Giovanni Torlonia su Maps ”.

Dopo queste informazioni è arrivato l’annuncio per collaborare nella ricostruzione della storia di questo edificio così particolare . “ Se sai qualcosa in più su questo misterioso edificio scrivicelo nei commenti ”.

Sono tantissime le persone che si stanno lanciando nelle risposte.

E qualcosa possiamo aggiungere anche noi. L’edificio, che si trova tra l’acqua e una fitta vegetazione, venne realizzato grazie al principe Giovanni Torlonia, che considerava questo luogo fronte mare, come il suo rifugio segreto.

E’ composto da due scafi appoggiati su un isolotto. La struttura, unica nel suo genere, è espressione del Modernismo, movimento artistico che si espresse tra gli anni venti e Trenta.

Il principe Torlonia raggiungeva in motoscafo dalle sponde del lago di Traiano la struttura, ereditata poi da Sforza Cesarini, che conserva ancora oggi alcuni elementi che fecero parte dell’arredo. Il principe Torlonia, quando raggiungeva questa casa catamarano, utilizzava uno dei due scafi mentre l’altro era stato destinato al custode.

Quando avvenne il declino della struttura? Dopo la morte di Giovanni Torlonia ma, soprattutto con la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, la casa dell’isolotto venne occupata prima dai soldati italiani e poi da quelli tedeschi che provocarono grossi danni. La Fondazione Portus ha realizzato un progetto di recupero riguardo questo edificio che speriamo possa tornare così al suo antico splendore.

Il catamarano a vela più grande del mondo sarà un vero e proprio museo itinerante

Art Explorer è il multiscafo di Perini Navi che per due anni porterà in giro per il mondo esperienze artistiche

Il progetto del catamarano Art Explorer è stato commissionato da Frédéric Jousset; Fraser Yacht si è occupata del Project Management mentre interior ed exterior design sono stati firmati dagli architetti francesi Axel de Beaufort e Guillaume Verdier. “Il design del catamarano si è ispirato molto alle mie esperienze in offshore”, racconta Axel de Beaufort, che prosegue: “Lavorando a stretto contatto con il mio caro amico e rinomato architetto navale Guillaume Verdier, abbiamo realizzato una barca che coniuga perfettamente performance e funzionalità. Il design degli interni dell'Art Explorer trasmette un'eleganza e una raffinatezza senza tempo, riflettendo l'essenza dell'eleganza. Ogni dettaglio è stato curato con massima attenzione per creare uno spazio lussuoso e accogliente che si integra perfettamente con la grandezza dello yacht”. Art Explorer ospita una mostra immersiva progettata con l'eccezionale collaborazione del Musée du Louvre , un'esperienza sonora sviluppata con Ircam e residenze d'artista a bordo.

Il flybridge del catamarano Art Explorer sarà adibito per le esposizioni virtuali, i workshop e le conferenze, mentre nella parte interna centrale dello yacht troverà spazio la galleria vera e propria che nella fase inaugurale ospiterà ‘Icons’, una mostra digitale sulla rappresentazione delle donne nel Mediterraneo gestita da Noëmi Daucé, curatrice di archeologia al Louvre Abu Dhabi.

L'ingresso alle mostre proposte sul catamarano Art Explorer sarà gratuito e i visitatori saranno incoraggiati a registrarsi in anticipo tramite Art Explora Academy, una nuova piattaforma digitale dedicata ai corsi di storia dell'arte in francese e inglese, con video didattici sviluppati in stretta collaborazione con l' Università Paris-Sorbonne . Al termine dei due anni di navigazione dedicata all’arte, il catamarano verrà utilizzato come barca per il charter.

Il catamarano Art Explorer è la barca-museo che ospiterà il Festival Art Explora , un festival culturale itinerante, ad accesso libero, sviluppato in collaborazione con le istituzioni locali del Mediterraneo per offrire esperienze culturali e artistiche uniche. Oltre la barca, il festival si svolgerà sulle banchine e nelle città ospitanti, con un programma che unisce mostre, realtà virtuale, spettacoli, conferenze, proiezioni di film, concerti, workshop, ecc., riunendo artisti, curatori di mostre, organizzazioni culturali, associazioni e istituzioni educative che immagineranno collettivamente una nuova visione del Mediterraneo.

Lo yacht sarà accompagnato da uno spazio espositivo nomade e innovativo, progettato da Wilmotte & Associés Architectes, che sarà allestito sulle banchine dei porti visitati. Per ridurre le emissioni, il catamarano, a bordo, vanta l'installazione di numerosi pannelli solari .
