HERMITAGE Yacht – Mesmeric $100M Superyacht

The HERMITAGE yacht was constructed by Lurssen at their shipyard in Rendsburg, Germany.

Winch Design, a British designer and design house, is responsible for her interior styling, and she was finished in the year 2011. Espen Oeino is responsible for the creation of the exterior design of this luxury vessel.

The HERMITAGE superyacht is ranked as the 301st largest yacht in the world, according to the ranking of the largest yachts in the world. She is the fifty-first largest yacht that Lürssen has ever constructed.

Her interior was designed by Andrew Winch of Winch Design,  an internationally renowned design studio that has built its reputation by contributing to the creation of some of the world’s most recognizable land, air, and sea-based projects.

HERMITAGE Yacht exterior

Her exterior was penned by Espen Oeino, one of the leading designers in the superyacht industry.

The studio has produced designs for some of the most significant yachts thanks to its methodical and disciplined approach to problem-solving, as well as its thorough understanding of the engineering-related aspects of yacht design and naval architecture.

The exterior color scheme is white on black, with black masking most of the windows on the superstructure and covering the main mast. Aft garages have tender room, which is likely supplied by twin hatch doors.

Additionally., a big pool is positioned on the sundeck in front of the main mast, while a jacuzzi is located on the upper deck forward, overlooking the bow.

The HERMITAGE megayacht has been designed to provide luxurious accommodation for a maximum of 12 guests across its 6 suites. 

In addition, she has the capacity to accommodate up to 18 crew members, which makes for a much more relaxing luxury yacht experience.

HERMITAGE yacht features a steel hull, an aluminum superstructure, and teak decks throughout her construction. 

She measures 68 meters (224 feet) in length and is powered by Caterpillar engines. The superyacht is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 15 knots while her cruising speed is 11 knots.

HERMITAGE is a 223′ 7″ (68.15m) motor yacht, custom built in 2011 by Lurssen Yachts . The yacht’s interior has been designed by Andrew Winch Designs, Techtonic Design and has exterior styling by Espen Oeino. HERMITAGE has a steel hull with a aluminum superstructure with a beam of 41’11” (12.8m) and a 11′ 11″ (3.65m) draft. This custom displacement yacht also features at anchor stabilizers which work at zero speed, increasing onboard comfort at anchor and on rough waters. HERMITAGE is capable of 15.50 knots flat out.

Moran Yacht & Ship negotiated the build contract for HERMITAGE, wrote the technical specifications and managed the entire build process for the vessel. Our team was by the owner’s side from concept well through completion.

Hermitage is a custom motor yacht launched in 2011 by Lurssen Yachts.

Lürssen has remained a family-run German shipyard since its inception in 1875 and is now in its fourth generation of private ownership. The company was founded by Friedrich Lürssen with a desire to create a leading shipyard in both quality and performance.

Hermitage measures 68.15 metres in length, with a max draft of 3.65 metres and a beam of 12.80 metres.

Hermitage has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure.

For over twenty-five years Espen Oeino International has been hard at work designing custom motor yachts for an international clientele from Japan in the East to Seattle in the West.

Her interior design is by Winch Design.

Hermitage also features naval architecture by Lurssen Yachts.

The Lurssen built 68.2 metre (223,9 ft) Hermitage yacht was designed by the team of Espen Oeino (exterior yacht design) and Andrew Winch (who designed the boats interior).

Superyacht HERMITAGE was launched at the Rendesburg Lürssen shipyard on October 2010. Yacht Hermitage's hull was built from steel as married to an aluminium superstructure. The Hermitage yacht accommodates up to 12 guests in 6 luxurious staterooms as designed by Andrew Winch.

Superyacht Hermitage is the fifth superyacht launched by Lurssen Yachts in 2010, which many more planned for 2011 and 2012. Other Lurssen superyachts launched in 2010 included the 124.40m LOA yacht KATARA, the 87.2 m motor yacht Phoenix 2, the 60 m yacht Solemates II and the 85 m motor yacht Pacific.

Hermitage has now undergone her sea trials off the German Coast and been delivered to her owner. The 2010 yacht Hermitage was built by Lurssen, the German super yacht manufacturer, designed by Espen Oeino and features an Andrew Winch designed interior.

With a length of 68.15m and a beam of 12.8m, M/Y Hermitage is large superyacht with sharp exterior lines. She will be able to operate as either a private yacht or a luxury charter yacht. The Hermitage yacht is the fifth superyacht launched by Lurssen Yachts this year following the launch of the 124.40m super yacht KATARA (ex project Crystal), the 87.20 metre megayacht Phoenix 2 , the 60 metre charter yacht Solemates II, and the 85 metre motor yacht Pacific.

A large pool is located on the sundeck, forward of the main mast while there is a jacuzzi forward, over looking the bow on the upper deck. Directly forward of the hot tub, appears to be storage space, maybe for a rescue tender or few PWC’s.

Day 1 – Moscow

12.00 – Excursion of the State Tretyakov Gallery

The State Tretyakov Gallery is the largest art and history museum dedicated to fine arts in Russia. There are more than 100,000 different exhibits in its collection. The Tretyakov gallery was established in 1856 by merchant Pavel Tretyakov. In 1867 the gallery was opened to the public. In 1892 the owner gave the gallery to the city to became state property. 15.00 – Back to the hotel, free time, overnight. Services: transport, guide, entrance ticket to the State Tretyakov Gallery.

Day 3 – Moscow

10.00 – Meeting with guide at the hotel lobby. 13.30 – Excursion to Moscow Kremlin (Territory + Cathedrals)

Moscow Kremlin is the main historical value of the capital. On the territory of the Kremlin are concentrated architectural monuments of the late XIV-XIX centuries, museums, ancient cathedrals, the buildings of the Arsenal and the Senate Palace.

14.30 – Visit of the Kremlin Armoury

Part of the Grand Kremlin Palace, the Armory built in 1851 by the architect Konstantin Ton. The main exposition of the museum consists of treasures discovered in the Patriarchal sacristy . In the musuem collection there are various precious items created in the forges and workshops of the Kremlin and gifts from foreign ambassadors presented within centuries. 16.30 – Back to hotel by metro, free time. 18.30 – Meeting with driver at the hotel lobby, transfer to unique folklore show. 19.30 – Folklore show with dinner. 22.30 – Transfer to the hotel. 23.00 – Back to hotel. Free time. Overnight. Services: transport, guide, entrance ticket to Moscow Kremlin and Kremlin Armoury.

Day 4 – Moscow

10.00 – Meeting with guide at the hotel lobby. 10.15 – Transfer to Sergiev Posad. 12.30 – Visit of the Holy Trinity-St Sergius Lavra

Sergiev Posad is a city in the Moscow region, known far beyond its borders for architectural complexes and crafts. It is a major treasure of Russian art. The world-famous architectural ensemble of the Monastery includes more than fifty edifices constructed by craftsmen from Moscow, Pskov and Yaroslavl. In 1993, the museum’s complex was inscribed by UNESCO into the list of the World Cultural Heritage. Now the Museum’s collection comprises More than 120.000 items: ancient icons, medieval manuscripts and old printed books, church utensils, paintings, engravings, pieces of national and contemporary art. This ancient art collection attracts great attention due to its close connection with important events of Russian History, such as Kulikovskaya Battle of 1380, struggle for independence against invasions, and various events of Peter the Great’s Age. 14.30 – Transfer to Moscow. 16.30 – Back to hotel, free time, overnight. Day 6 – Saint-Petersburg

To get the first idea of St. Petersburg, to feel the spirit of the ancient city, you should go through its historical center, where each building keeps secrets and mysteries. Peter and Paul Fortress is the oldest monument of Saint-Petersburg. founded in 1703 by tzar Peter I. The fortress did not participate in any battle, although the garrison remained in full combat readiness for centuries and was created to protect the lands won in the Northern war. Peter and Paul Cathedral was built simultaneously with the fortress, first in wood, and since 1712-th in stone. Romanov house tomb is located here where all Russian tsars from Peter I to Nicholas II are buried.

Day 8 – Saint-Petersburg

10.00 – Departure to Peterhof. Excursion Peterhof (Petrodvorets) & Grand palace & Small palace & Park

The magnificent palaces and parks ensemble, located 29 km from St. Petersburg. Complex of 176 fountains, the main of which is Samson, built in 1710 by order of Tsar Peter the Great. The life of Peterhof as a tzar country residence continued until 1917. In 1918, the ensemble was recognized as a national treasure. Peterhof is the pride of our country and world heritage site of UNESCO. 15.00 – Departure to Petersburg. 16.00 – End of tour. Day 9 – Saint-Petersburg

The Museum-Reserve is located 40 km from St. Petersburg. The famous Amber Room is located in one of 32 reconstructed rooms of the Catherine Palace, a luxurious summer residence of three Russian tsars of the 18th – 19th centuries. 15.00 – Departure to Petersburg. 16.00 – End of tour. Day 10 – Saint-Petersburg

10.00 – Excursion to Saint-Isaac’s Cathedral visiting of Panoramic Colonade

A monumental cathedral, the fourth largest in the world, St. Isaac’s Cathedral is an Orthodox church, the largest in Russia. The cathedral was built for 40 years. On the colonnade of St. Isaac’s Cathedral is the second highest observation deck of Saint-Petersburg. 13.00-14.00 – time for lunch (extra). 14.00-18.00 – Hermitage museum excursion

The State Hermitage museum started its life as a private collection of Catherine II. Opened to the public in 1852 under the official name “Imperial Hermitage”. In 1917-th the Hermitage was declared state museum. In its the collection about 3 million works of art and monuments of world culture. Museum consists of 7 historical buildings, among which the most popular is Winter Palace builted first.
